An arrangement for supplying liquid media to consumers of a fuel cell system having a feed pump is suggested which is less complex compared to known arrangements. This is achieved in that controllable metering valves () are provided between the feed pump () and the respective consumers.

Dual nozzle for injecting fuel and an additional fluid

A fuel injection system comprising a common rail pressure reservoir filled with fuel at high pressure and having a dual-substance nozzle for dual fluid injection of fuel and a supplementary liquid into an internal combustion engine. The system includes a first 2/2-way valve, in the injection line between the common rail pressure reservoir and a pressure chamber surrounding the nozzle needle of the dual-substance nozzle, and a second 2/2-way valve, whose inlet communicates, via a feed line with the injection line at a point between the first 2/2-way valve and the pressure chamber. An outlet of the pressure chamber communicates with the low-pressure fuel side via a drain line (,). As a result, the otherwise usual, technologically much more complicated 3/2-way magnet valves can be replaced with more economical 2/2-way valves. At the same time, the possibility is afforded of shifting the quantity metering for supplementary liquid to a single metering valve that serves an entire group of fuel injectors.

The electrohydraulic adjusting device for actuating a device for adjusting at least one camshaft of an internal combustion engine relative to its crankshaft has two differential pistons each of which serves to adjust a camshaft (intake camshaft or exhaust camshaft). Each of the two differential pistons have a small effective piston surface which is acted upon with pressure by a pump. An independent pressure control valve is associated with each of the pressure chambers on a larger effective piston surface, via which valve, the pressure in this pressure chamber can be controlled independently of the other differential piston.

A tank bleeder valve for the metered admixture of volatilized fuel to the fuel-air mixture of an internal combustion engine has a valve housing with inflow and outflow necks, between which an electromagnetically actuatable seat valve is disposed. The inflow neck communicates with the vent neck of a fuel tank, and the outflow neck communicates with the engine intake manifold. To prevent dieseling of the engine after the ignition is switched off, the seat valve is embodied such that it is very tightly closed when there is no current. To this end, the valve opening of the seat valve is embodied as an annular gap, coaxially surrounded on the inside and outside by a valve seat in the form of an annular double seat. The valve element of the seat valve is embodied as an annular disk of magnetically conductive material, which is loaded with a closing force acting in the closing direction of the seat valve. The annular disk simultaneously acts as the armature of the electromagnet.

For controlling high-pressure phases during the stroke of a pump piston of a fuel injection pump, magnetic valves are also used, which are built into relief lines of the pump work chamber of such fuel injection pumps and which with the instant of closure of the relief line determine the injection onset and with the instant of reopening of the relief line determine the end of injection and hence the injection quantity. Such valves must be capable of switching rapidly, in view of the high rpm of internal combustion engines, yet must be as small as possible and use the least possible energy. By using a piston slide which in the closing state is balanced in pressure on the high-pressure side, and by relieving the chambers defined on the face end by the piston slide, a fast-switching, recoilless magnetic valve is obtained, which is opened by a restoring spring when the electromagnet is in the currentless state. This makes the use of the magentic valve in combination with electrically controlled injection pumps particularly advantageous.

A valve control arrangement for an internal combustion engine with reciprocating pistons, comprises a combustion chamber valve, a driving cam of the combustion chamber valve, a movement transmission group arranged between the combustion chamber valve and the driving cam and having a pressure chamber which is fillable with a pressure medium and unloadable from the pressure medium, an unloading conduit through which the pressure chamber is unloaded, and electrically controlled blocking valve arranged in the unloading conduit for blocking and releasing the unloading conduit and therefore coupling or uncoupling the combustion chamber valve relative to the driving cam, the blocking valve being formed as electromagnetically controlled 2/2 directional control valve.
