A guide rail including a rail body and a fastening element having a narrow front edge portion abutting the rail body, and configured as a bracket element from an angled sheet metal material with limbs oriented at an angle and connected along a bending edge, and a horizontal limb forming the flat material portion with the upper side and with the underside of the flat material portion with the edge portion. A horizontal limb of the bracket element has an inner limb portion adjoining the bending edge and an outer limb portion adjoining the inner limb portion via a longitudinally extending shoulder. The outer limb portion includes the edge portion and a reinforcing mechanism is provided on the fastening element as an arch extending along the shoulder over a partial region of the outer limb portion and over the shoulder and over part of the inner limb portion.

A damping mechanism is provided, including a damper housing, a damping assembly provided within the damper housing, and a damper cover assembly fitted to at least a portion of the damper housing. The damper cover assembly includes a damper cover and at least one connection member attached thereto. A recess is provided on a rearward side of the damper cover, and at least one receptacle is provided, defining an opening on a bottom surface of the damper cover and being adapted to receive and retain therein at least a portion of the at least one connection member of the damper cover assembly. A pull-out guide for the guidance of a drawer, including a cabinet rail for attachment to a furniture cabinet, a drawer rail for attachment to a drawer, and a roller unit having rollers that roll on guide surfaces of the respective rails during movement of the rails relative to one another. The cabinet rail has a vertically extending low-profile side element that does not extend upwardly above a support surface of the drawer rail over at least 75% of its total length. A vertically upwardly protruding flag-like element extends upwardly in the vertical direction to guide a drawer during assembly to the drawer rail.

A device for a movable furniture part having a first stop part which can be attached to a body and is connected via a joint mechanism to a second stop part which can be attached to the movable furniture part for pivoting of the movable furniture part. A damping device is provided, and includes a damper housing and an inner part which is received on the damper housing, which damper housing and inner part can be moved with respect to one another, and the damper housing or the inner part serving as a contact part which, for the damping operation, comes at least temporarily into contact with a section of the device, which section can be moved during the pivoting of the furniture part. A setting mechanism is provided, by way of which setting of the damping action which is provided by way of the damping device can be performed.

A universal damping mechanism is provided, including a housing having a mounting surface for fixing the housing to an appropriate furniture or fixture surface. The mounting surface includes a bottom surface of a box-shaped portion of the housing, which further includes a pair of laterally opposed side surfaces extending upwardly from the bottom surface. Each lateral side surface includes a recessed portion defining a first opening of an angled hole communicating with a second opening of the angled hole provided in the bottom surface proximate a central portion thereof. A shock absorber subassembly is slidably positioned within a shock absorber receiving portion of the housing and has a first end extending from a first end of the housing, and an adjustment mechanism is coupled to a second end of the housing and adjustably engaged with a second end of the shock absorber subassembly within the shock absorber receiving portion.

Low profile hinge

A mounting plate for a furniture hinge includes a hinge plate pivotably connected to a hinge component, such as a hinge cup, on a pivot axis. At least one front support members depends from the front edge of the hinge plate and is spaced a predetermined radial distance from the pivot axis. The front support member depends a distance from the hinge plate that is less than, and preferably not greater than three-fourths, the predetermined radial distance between the front support member and the pivot axis. The mounting plate also includes at least one opposing rear support member depending from the rear edge of the hinge plate a distance that is at least as great as, and preferably, at least one and three-fourths times, the distance by which the front support member depends from the hinge plate. At least one fastener opening is formed in one or both of the hinge plate and the at least one rear support member, and the front and rear support members are adapted to confront opposing sides of a cabinet member on which the mounting plate is installed and cooperatively provide subjacent lateral support for the cabinet member when a fastener received through the fastener opening is inserted into the cabinet member.

Mounting plate for a furniture hinge

This invention relates to hinges for mounting a door on a furniture article frame. The hinges include at least a hinge cup member adapted to be affixed to the furniture door, a top hinge arm segment pivotably connected to the hinge cup member and comprising a top elongated aperture and two tabs, and an L-shaped hinge arm segment comprising at least a circular aperture, a center hole and two grooves. A base hinge arm segment comprising an elongated center hole, a circular aperture and an upper flange may also be used with the top hinge arm segment and the L-shaped hinge arm segment to allow adjustments to be made in a third direction. In some embodiments, turning a cam or eccentric screw allows adjustments to be made horizontally from side-to-side so that the desired spacing of the door from opposite sides of the door opening can be set. In some embodiments, turning a cam or eccentric screw allows adjustments to be made horizontally in-and-out so that the desired alignment of the door with the front face of the furniture article frame can be set. Finally, in some embodiments, vertical adjustments can also be made by loosening a fastening screw so that the desired spacing from the top and bottom of the door opening can be set.
