A two-component piston for a cartridge includes a piston cover and a piston body. The piston cover has a radially extending attachment portion, a rear side and a front side. The piston body includes a front side and a rear side. The rear side of the piston cover is arranged adjacent to at least a part of the front side of the piston body and includes a valve member configured and arranged to be received within the piston body and to extend into the piston body towards the rear side of the piston body. The piston cover moves relative to the piston body upon actuation of the valve member, and the piston cover is non-releasably connected to the piston body by a part of the piston body being overmolded to the radially extending portion of the attachment portion of the piston cover.

A two-component piston for a cartridge includes a piston cover as the first component and a piston body as the second component. The piston has a first side and a second side, and a rear side of the piston cover arranged adjacent to at least a part of the piston body. A front side of the piston cover is arranged at the first side, and the rear side of the piston cover includes a valve member. The valve member is to be received within the piston body and to extend into the piston body towards the second side. The piston cover is configured to be moved relative to the piston body on actuation of the valve member and the piston cover is non-releasably connected to the piston body.

A piston for a cartridge has a medium side and an actuation side, and includes a piston body, a piston cover arranged adjacent to at least a part of the piston body and a valve arranged within the piston body and adjacent to the piston cover, the piston body including a centering portion arranged at an outer region of an outer peripheral surface thereof. The centering portion including at least one venting device.

The invention relates to a cartridge for at least two flowable components. The invention starts from a cartridge having at least two storage containers into which pistons can be inserted for dispensing components. So that the pistons cannot slip out of the storage containers again after the insertion, peripheral beads are provided at inner walls of the storage containers. To make possible cartridges which can be manufactured inexpensively and which can nevertheless be reliably sealed, it is proposed in accordance with the invention that the first inner wall has a first connection section and the second inner wall has a second connection section in which they do not have a bead. A connection web which connects the two storage containers is in this respect arranged between the first and second connection sections.

An apparatus for the storage of a plurality of components designed for joint use includes two separate oppositely disposed storage regions for the respective components with a separating film between the storage regions. A piston includes a piston body which is surrounded by a media side, by an oppositely disposed drive side and, at the peripheral side, by a piston jacket, wherein the piston jacket forms a connection between the media side and the drive side. The piston jacket is arranged about a piston axis, wherein the piston jacket is connected to the piston body via a web element so that a peripheral groove is formed on the media side between the piston body and the piston jacket. A cover element is arranged at the media side, and has a drive side surface which lies directly on the media side surface of the piston body.

Cartridge piston

The piston includes a piston body having a conveying side, an oppositely disposed drive side and, at the circumferential side, a piston jacket forming a connection between the conveying side and the drive side. The piston jacket has a projection that carries a guide element for the guidance of the piston in a cartridge containing a filling with solid particles and for forming a sealing contact with a wall of the cartridge. The projection also carries a scraper element in front of the guide element for scraping solid particles from the cartridge wall back into the filling during discharge.

A dual dispensing apparatus for dispensing two flowable components having a first storage chamber for the first component, and a second storage chamber for the second component. The two storage chambers are arranged next to one another and each have an outlet for the first or the second component respectively at their distal ends. The apparatus also has a first plunger for penetrating into the first storage chamber and a second plunger for penetrating into the second storage chamber. A respective piston for dispensing the respective component is molded to each plunger and is sealingly guided by the respective wall of the storage chamber. Each storage chamber has at least one first guide element at its end remote from the outlet and each plunger has at least one second guide element adjacent to the respective piston. The first and the second guide elements are configured for mutual engagement.
