A computer search service can receive an enterprise graph query from a client computing device that is remote from the computer search service, with the enterprise graph query identifying an actor object set, a target object set, and a relationship between the actor object set and the target object set. The search service can return results of the enterprise graph query to the client device. The search service can receive from the client device an indication of user input instructing the search service to persist the enterprise graph query, with the indication of user input also instructing the search service to associate the persisted enterprise graph query with an entity. Moreover, in response to receiving the indication of user input, the search service can persist the enterprise graph query as well as associate the persisted enterprise graph query with the entity and/or enter a subscription entry for the query.

A user context and/or a relevant person context may be determined in response to detecting a user interest in viewing contact information. The user context may include user's attributes such as organizational position, preferences, location, working hours, which application the user is employing, etc. Relevant person context may include context information (similar to the user's) for people within a predefined social distance such as the user's peers, supervisor(s), close friends, etc. Information associated with one or more persons of interest to the user may then be selected and retrieved from a cache storage at a server a productivity service to be provided to a client application for display to the user. Information to be stored in server cache for rapid retrieval may also be selected based on user and relevant person context using observed user behavior.

Document tags are rapidly indexed using a text based index and a graph index. A tag signal is received. A tag and a type of the tag that are located in the tag signal are stored in a data store. The tag is indexed as a tag document in the text based index. One or more relationships between the tag and a content document are managed in the graph index.

Relevant files are determined for a user upon detecting a user action such as save, load, open, view, share, or comparable ones associated with a file. The relevancy may be determined through one or more queries based on, a number of criteria, where the queries are executed on local or remote data stores related to the user. For example, files on the local computing device of the user, files in an enterprise network associated with the user, files on a social network subscribed by the user may be evaluated for various relevancy criteria. Files determined to be relevant may be prioritized, ordered, and/or grouped for suggestion to the user and presented through a user interface of an application performing the detected action.
