A plug connector for printed circuit boards includes a number of contact elements positioned in a housing. The contact elements each have two connection ends and an intermediate contact positioned between the two ends, where one connection end is in the form of an insulation displacement contact for connecting wires. The insulation displacement contacts are supported on the housing, so that the contact elements are held captively in the housing when connection forces act on the insulation displacement contacts.

The invention relates to a plug-in connector for printed circuits, comprising a plurality of contact elements, whereby said contact elements have two connecting faces each. The one connecting face is configured as an insulation displacement contact for connecting cores and the other connecting face is configured as a tuning fork contact for contacting contact surfaces on a printed circuit. The insulation displacement contacts of the contact elements can be inserted into a plastic housing. At least one lower edge of the insulation displacement contacts is supported on the plastic housing so that the contact elements are captivated in the plastic housing when connecting forces act upon the insulation displacement contacts. The plastic housing comprises at least one chamber-type area. The tuning fork contacts are completely received by the plastic housing in the longitudinal direction. A termination device for telecommunication and data transmission applications, comprising a carrier rail, a base element with a receiving opening and functional modules. Various termination tasks can be solved by the base element being latched or onto or held by the carrier rail. Receiving portions for a termination element for incoming cables and for a termination element for outgoing cables are provided in the base element. A functional module is disposed between the two termination elements.

The terminating element is adapted as a plug connector receiving portion 2 with chambers 23 being open towards bottom, for the insertion of plug connectors 6 connected with the outgoing cable cores 37, and that the bifurcated contacts 9 are provided at the plug connectors 6.

The invention relates to a connecting block for connecting insulated cable conductors, in particular cable conductors of the telecommunication and data technology, comprising insulation displacement contact elements received in block bodies and arranged in lines. In order to provide a connecting block (1), wherein it is at any time possible to connect or disconnect cable conductors, without the block body (3, 4) impeding the connection of the cable conductors to the other block body (3, 4), at least one block body (3, 4) is provided with an axis of rotation (5), about which the block body can be swung out off the connecting block (1) or a connector arrangement is provided allowing relative movement between the block bodies.

Connecting block for the telecommunication and data technology

A connector bank with two rows of insulation displacement contacts for connecting insulated conductors, in particular of cables for telecommunication and data systems, comprising a surge arrester magazine to be inserted into the connector bank. The invention relates to a cutting and clamping sleeve contact for contacting a cable wire laterally to the sleeve axis. The sleeve contact exhibits at least one clamping through slot at the periphery of the sleeve and a cutting and clamping contact in the interior of the sleeve. Wall pieces are cut free at the wall of a sleeve. They provide a one-piece sleeve contact suitable to contact cable wires having varying diameters and multi-stranded conductors. The wall pieces are also made of a metal material, and are bent into the interior of the sleeve and form contact legs for forming the cutting/clamping contact.
