A method and an arrangement of access to data by users in mobile communications networks which can be controlled. Data which is stored in one or more data memories in the mobile communications network for a user of the mobile communications network is addressed by a data processing device, after which a central control device in the mobile communications network uses predetermined checking criteria to check whether the data processing device is authorized to access such data, and the central control device allows access if the check result is positive.

Method and arrangement for controlling access to data in mobile communications networks

Controlling setting-up a connection in a mobile communication system includes storing, in at least one subscriber database, subscriber-oriented data for a subscriber registered in a home mobile radio network, entering the subscriber-oriented data in a subscriber database when the subscriber moves, and setting-up a connection for the subscriber with a mobile station using a mobile switching center coupled to the subscriber database.

A method and communication network for administering additional services which provides that a subscriber self-input into communication terminal equipment be initiated by the subscriber for the respective additional service and, due to the subscriber self-input at least one structured container message is generated by the communication terminal equipment and is sent to a memory unit of the communication network. The container message received by the memory unit is inventively forwarded via an interface that connects the memory unit to the service control point. The interface implemented between memory unit and service control point makes it possible that the container message can be forwarded up to the service control point for a service handling via the subscriber self-input for the additional service.

Method and communication network for the administration of additional services

A (mobile) transceiver can be switched into different equipment states, and is provided with an equipment state in which supplementary functions (appointment calendar, games, etc.)&mdash;which do not require any transmission via a radio interface of the transceiver&mdash;can be executed without any transmission of the transceiver via the radio interface. In particular, there is no transmission of a signal or organizational data which is normally automatically transmitted when a transceiver is activated or in a standby or a ready-to-receive state.

A method for changing service data includes setting up service data in at least one of subscriber register nodes of a telecommunications network, the service data containing subscription-related data concerning subscribers of the network and the service data to be altered by at least one message of a functional protocol. The at least one message of a functional protocol is sent to the at least one of the subscriber register nodes. A terminal of the network generates a handler message based on a specific command input by a user on the terminal. The handler message is independent of the functional protocol and has identification information concerning a subscriber of the network and change information regarding a nature and scope of a change of the service data of the subscriber. The terminal sends the handler message to a service control point of the network. The service control point uses the handler message to determine the identification information and the change information and, based on the identification information and change information, generates at least one protocol message corresponding to the functional protocol and containing command information for changing the service data. The at least one protocol message is sent to one of the subscriber register nodes or a subscriber register node to which the subscriber is assigned. The subscriber register node receiving the at least one protocol message evaluates the at least one protocol message for initiating the changes specified in the at least one protocol message.

Method for changing service data

A method provides that an initiating message is sent from a first service switching unit to a service control unit assigned to a supplementary service. In the service control unit there then takes place a comparison of a protocol supported by the first switching unit with a protocol necessary for the requested supplementary service. According to the result of the comparison, a second service switching unit, which can support the protocol necessary for the requested supplementary service, is determined, and a rerouting to the service switching unit is initiated.
