A device for simultaneous application of a plurality of adhesive spot s to a substrate, having a metering apparatus for conveying a predetermined volume of adhesive to a plurality of applicator nozzles for the application of respectively one adhesive spot to the substrate. A distribution apparatus distributes the volume of adhesive conveyed by the metering, device to the applicator nozzles. A warming medium is heated in a warning apparatus for heating the adhesive to a temperature desired for manipulation. The metering apparatus and the distribution apparatus are connected with each other by a conveying line containing an adhesive conduit. Feed lines with adhesive conduits lead from the distribution apparatus to the applicator nozzles, wherein a closed loop of the warming medium is formed, starting at the warming apparatus, and routed via the distribution apparatus and the feed lines to the applicator nozzles, and is returned via the feed lines and the distribution apparatus to the warming apparatus.

The invention relates to a refillable container that implements the first-in/first-out principle for highly viscous media, with an interior chamber delimited by a bottom and side walls and with a removal channel formed in the bottom of the container and with a follower plate placed loosely in the interior of the container, said plate sealing off the interior chamber and being sealed off from the side walls of the container, said plate further being movable upward or downward under the influence of pressure in the interior of the container, with a filling chamber for the medium being capable of being isolated from the interior chamber between the follower plate and the bottom of the container, and with a filling channel for loading the medium into the filling chamber and with a vent channel for venting the filling chamber running through the follower plate, and with the filling channel and air supply channel each being connectable with a line brought out of the container and being sealable as well.

Refillable container for highly viscous media

The invention relates to a storage head for a blow moulding machine for discontinuous manufacture of multi-layer co-extruded and blow-moulded hollow bodies made of thermoplastic. To improve the product quality and to increase the throughput, each distributor element is designed as a spiral channel distributor (20) which distributes the individual molten plastic streams uniformly at the periphery. The ejector (14) consists of at least two concentric tubular pieces (42, 44) and the peripherally distributed plastic flows from the ejector (14) through an annular gap (46) into the storage space (16) in the storage head housing (10) below the ejector.

Storage head for a blow molding machine

An annular exit die for an extrusion head of the type having a die casing ring and a tapered die core cooperating to form an annular die gap or orifice for fabricating a hollow extrudate of thermoplastic material. The tapered die core is adjustable in the axial direction and changes the radial cross-sectional dimension of the die gap as a function of its position. The casing ring has a lower end and an inner wall defining the outer boundary of the die gap. The wall has a step at the lower end of the ring. The step has an inner radially undulating circumferential profile and a radially undulating edge defining the boundary between the step and the lower end of the casing ring. The inner wall of the ring also has another step disposed radially inwardly of the first-mentioned step. This step has an inner radially symmetrical profile and a radially symmetrical edge defining the boundary between the two steps. The ring steps independently define the outer boundary of the die gap as a function of the relative axial positions of the casing ring and die core. Axial movement of the tapered die core varies the cross-sectional dimension of the die gap both uniformly about the circumference of the gap and at localized points therearound.

Exit die

In an axially extending extruder head for producing a thermoplastic tubular member, the material to be extruded is first supplied into a pair of annular first passageways spaced apart in the axial direction of the head, these passageways extend obliquely of the head axis. From the first passageways the material enters an axially elongated annular second passageway extending between the two first passageways. An annular third passage, extending transversely of the head axis, conveys the material from the second passageway into an axially extending feed passageway from which the material is extruded through the nozzle end of the head. The first, second and third passageways can be located in different parts of the extruder head.
