In a method or system to produce a locking connection between a toner reservoir and a cover sealing the toner reservoir, first and second locking units are provided that are locked with one another after sealing the toner reservoir with the cover. The first locking unit is arranged at an inside of the cover and the second locking unit is arranged on an outside of the toner reservoir. At least one of the two locking units has a run-in slope over which the other locking unit slides.

The invention relates to an extrusion head ( ) for a blow molding machine for producing two-layered hollow plastic bodies, including one or more extruders, connected to the extrusion head housing ( ), for supply of molten plastic melt. In particular when using different plastic materials of different viscosities, it is very important to create for both materials substantially the same rheological flow conditions when distributed across the circumference to form a tubular parison. This is attained in accordance with the invention by making the ejector piston of two concentric cylindrical sleeves which define between them an annular gap in which the two spiral-channel distributor elements are located in opposite disposition inside on the inner surface of the outer cylindrical sleeve and outside on the outer surface of the inner cylindrical sleeve, so that the circumferentially distributed plastic materials of both distributor elements exit at the lower end of the annular gap approximately centrally from the ejector piston into the storage space of the extrusion head.

A printer or copier includes a high speed monochrome or two color printer portion and a slower full color printer portion. Print job signals are divided into monochrome and color printed pages and sent to the corresponding printer portion. The printers, or a paper handling path between the printers, is controlled to assemble the printed pages into a predetermined sequence order.

The ink jet print device has a multiplicity of plug-in type printheads (12) mounted on support plates (23). The support plates can be replaced and interchanged without difficulty by an operator. To this end, the print device is divided into a lower part and the actual printheads (12) such that, when the heads (12) are plugged in, the necessary mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic connections (27, 28, 29, 31, 26, 41, 33) between the heads (12) and the lower part of the print device are all established. Guide and locking means are used to ensure that the plugged-in heads are exactly positioned and held in place. The sockets for the individual heads (12) are each of identical design so that the simple replacement concept permits any printheads to be used for color printing and graphics and for printing with different droplet sizes.

A method for driving printing elements of a dot matrix printer provides that the matrix dots to be printed are to be thinned out without any thin lines, in particular steeply inclined thin lines, being lost. To this end, the columns of the matrix are considered to be arranged next to each other in pairs, and before the matrix dots in each line (Z) of the matrix are thinned out, a matrix dot is placed before or after a matrix dot used initially to create the character, so that both matrix dots belonging to a pair of columns (SP1, SP5) are covered by a line (Z). During the subsequent thinning out, the lines are printed sufficiently well and clearly. The process is intended for use in dot matrix printers.

The invention relates to a process for driving printing elements of a dot matrix printer in which the matrix dots to be printed are to be thinned out without any thin lines, in particular steeply inclined thin lines, being lost. To this end, before thinning out each matrix dot to be printed is associated with another matrix dot disposed on a nearest neighbor grid point in a certain direction of addition. After thinning out, the respective characters or images are printed sufficiently well and clearly. The process is intended for use in dot matrix printers.

A gas bearing is formed of a bearing member of sintered material. Sintered grains of a layer forming a desired bearing surface are deformed into the shape of a honeycomb in non-cutting fashion and are subsequently finely worked in cutting fashion, so that super-fine pores formed at corners of the honeycomb arise and which form nozzles.
