The method for the manufacture of wall connector pieces is based on a thin-walled tubular blank which is first reduced in diameter at least one, preferably both ends in order to increase the wall thickness. In this way, a basis is provided for further shaping, for example, the manufacture of a connector piece () or a closed end ().

The flange connection further comprises a flange which is arranged radially outside on the connecting piece and which is fixable to a further component to make an indirect connection between the connecting piece and the further component. The flange has an opening through which the connecting piece is guided and the flange is fixed on the connecting piece by a retaining element.
