A metal heat exchanger tube having integral fins formed on the tube outside. The fins have a fin foot, fin flanks and a fin tip, and the fin foot protrudes radially from the tube wall. The tube includes a channel with a channel base and spaced-apart additional structures dividing the channel between the fins into segments and limiting fluid flow in the channel during operation. First additional structures are radially outwardly directed projections each with an end surface located between the channel base and the fin tip. Cavities in the form of second additional structures are disposed at the location of the projections between an end surface and the fin tip such that the cavities lie laterally on the fin flank and are open in the axial direction.

Metal heat exchanger tube

A metal heat exchanger tube having integral fins formed on the tube outside and having a fin foot, fin flanks and a fin tip. The fin foot protrudes radially from the tube wall, and a channel is formed between the fins. Spaced-apart additional structures are arranged in a channel base and divide the channel between the fins into segments. The additional structures reduce the throughflow area in the channel and limit fluid flow during operation. First additional structures are radial projections emerging from the channel base and are delimited radially by an end surface located between the channel base and the fin tip. Material protrusions in the form of second additional structures lie at the location of the projections. The material protrusions are arranged between the end surface and the fin tip and lie laterally on the fin flank, and extend further axially and radially than circumferentially.

A cooling system for the liquid immersion cooling of electronic components. The system includes a container containing, in an interior, liquid heat transfer fluid into which electronic components are immersed, the container having a gas space above the surface of the liquid heat transfer fluid, and a heat exchanger device in the gas space of the container for forming liquid heat transfer fluid. The cooling system further includes a lock device on the container for exchanging electronic components, and the lock device has a lock space, which lock space is hermetically sealed with respect to the gas space of the container to prevent gas exchange.

Cooling system for the liquid immersion cooling of electronic components

A metal heat exchanger tube has integral ribs formed on the outside of the tube. The ribs have a rib base, rib flanks, and a rib tip. The rib base protrudes substantially radially from the tube wall. A channel is formed between the ribs, in which channel additional structures spaced apart from each other are arranged. The additional structures divide the channel between the ribs into segments. The additional structures reduce the cross-sectional area in the channel between two ribs through which flow is possible by at least 60% locally and, at least thereby, limit a fluid flow in the channel during operation.

The invention relates to a heat exchanger tube having a tube longitudinal axis, wherein fins extend continuously from the tube wall on the tube outer face and/or the tube inner face, or extend axially parallel thereto or in the form of a helix. Continuously extending primary grooves are formed between adjacent fins, said fins have at least one structured area on the tube outer face and/or tube inner face, and the structured area has a plurality of projections of a projection height projecting from the surface, the projections being separated by notches. According to the invention, a plurality of projections are deformed relative one another in pairs to such an extent that cavities are formed between adjacent projections. Furthermore, according to the invention, a plurality of projections are deformed in the direction of the tube wall such that cavities are formed between a respective projection and the tube wall.

Heat exchanger tube

The invention relates to heat exchanger tube having a longitudinal tube axis; axially parallel or helically circumferential continuous fins are formed from the tube wall on the outer tube face and/or inner tube face, and continuous primary grooves are formed between adjacent fins; the fins have at least one structured zone on the outer tube face and/or inner tube face, said structured zone being provided with a plurality of projections which project from the surface an have a height such that the projections are separated by notches. According to the invention, the projections are arranged in groups which are periodically repeated along the extension of the fin. Furthermore, at least two notches between the projections within the group have a varying notch depth in a fin.

The invention relates to a heat exchanger tube () having a tube longitudinal axis (A), a tube wall (), an outer tube face () and an inner tube face (), wherein axially parallel or helically circumferential continuous fins () are formed on the outer tube face () and/or inner tube face () which fins continuously run from the tube wall, and continuously extending primary grooves () are formed between respectively adjacent fins (). According to the invention, the fins () along the fin profile are subdivided into periodically repeating fin sections () which are divided into a multiplicity of projections () with a projection height (h), wherein the projections () are formed between primary grooves () by making cuts into the fins () at a cutting depth transversely with respect to the fin profile to form fin segments and by raising the fin segments in a main orientation along the fin profile.

A metallic heat transfer tube, in particular for the evaporation of liquids from pure substances or mixtures on the outside of the tube. Fins are integrally formed on the outside of the tube. Recesses are arranged in the area of the base of the primary grooves and extend between the fins. The recesses are in the form of re-entrant secondary grooves. The mechanical stability of the tube is not negatively influenced because material is primarily removed from the fin flanks toward the base of the groove so that the re-entrant secondary grooves are radially open.

Method of fabricating a heat exchanger tube

The invention relates to a heat-transfer tube, in particular an evaporator tube, with fins circumferentially extending on the shellside, which fins are shaped to essentially closed-off channels. The channels are open to the outside through pores with at least two variable sizes. In order to improve the evaporation characteristics, the invention provides advantageous regions for the ratio of the pore sizes and the ratio of the number of pores.

A process for producing a heat exchanger tube (1) with a highly porous surface structure, in particular for evaporating liquids from pure substances or mixtures on the outside of the tube. The process starts from a rolling operation, by means of which helical fins (2) are produced on the outside of the tube, which fins, in turn, are deformed in a plurality of compression steps by means of gearwheel-like compression wheels (6, 7) in such a manner that the projections (12a, 12b) formed in each case form a cover (3a) for the passages (3) which are situated between the fins (2). The high level of porosity is achieved as a result of the remaining pores (13) and/or slots (14).

Process for the production of an evaporator tube

A metallic finned tube having multiple fins integrally formed on and extending helically on an outside of the tube. The fins number at least four and begin at fin run start locations spaced evenly about a circumference of the tube, with at least one group of side-by-side helical fins being formed which begin at substantially the same circumferential fin run start location on the tube exterior.

Multiple finned tube and a method for its manufacture

The invention relates to a metallic heat-exchanger tube (1) with fins (2) which annularly or helically extend or rather extend in axial direction on the outside of the tube for condensing of vapor from pure substances or mixtures on the outside of the tube. To improve the condensation performance by effecting a thinning of a liquid film, the invention includes a making of the fins so that they have a constant fin height H throughout, with the fin flanks (4) being structured by spaced-apart depressions.

Method of manufacture of a multiple finned tube

A heat exchanger wall for the transfer of heat from one first medium on one side of the wall to a second medium to be evaporated on the other side of the wall, with this other side having integral, aligned distributor grooves for distributing the liquid phase of the second medium.
