A sealing device can be used for at least one edge joint, which is formed between a floor, a wall, or a ceiling and an adjacent cladding of drywall having cladding. The sealing device contains a sealing profile with a base body for sealing the at least one edge joint on the cladding. The base body has a sealing web which forms a lateral contact surface for the cladding.

Sealing device for an edge joint and drywall

A sealing device can be used for a double edge joint which is formed between a floor, a wall, or a ceiling and an adjacent first cladding and a spaced-apart second cladding of drywall having double-layer cladding. The sealing device contains a sealing profile having a holding portion and a first base body for sealing a first edge joint on the first cladding and a second base body for sealing a second edge joint on the second cladding. The first and the second base bodies are connected to one another via the holding portion and, in combination therewith, form a U-shaped receptacle for the holding rail of the drywall. Furthermore, drywall can contain a sealing device of this type.

A sealing device can be used for sealing an edge joint between cladding of drywall and an adjacent floor, wall, or ceiling. The sealing device contains a one-piece sealing profile, containing a bearing web which is opposite a circumferential side of the cladding, a fastening web running parallel to the bearing web for fastening the sealing profile to a holding rail of the drywall, and an outer supporting web, viewed in cross section, covering the edge joint at least in portions. The outer supporting web is adjacent to and supports the bearing web, and via which the bearing web is connected to the fastening web. Furthermore, drywall can contain the sealing device of this type, and a method can be used for producing drywall of this type.

A sealing profile can be used for an edge joint formed between a floor and adjacent cladding of drywall. The sealing profile has a base body for sealing the edge joint. The base body has an upper portion close to the cladding and an opposite bottom portion. The upper portion has an upper side which forms a support for the cladding. The sealing profile also has a lateral fastening portion running towards the base body for fastening the sealing profile to a lateral holding rail of the drywall. The fastening portion is only firmly connected to the base body via the bottom portion. The base body also has a side surface which is directly opposite the fastening portion and which is not connected to the opposite region of the fastening portion. Drywall can contain such a sealing profile.

A method can be used for producing a plurality of sealing profiles for an edge joint of drywall. The method involves providing a first web of sealing material, and applying a plurality of adhesive strips to the first web, where adjacent adhesive strips are at a distance from one another corresponding to at least 50% of the height of a sealing profile. The method then involves providing a second web, and merging and joining the first web to the second web via the adhesive strips to form a multilayer web. The method further involves introducing a plurality of cuts in a particular way at a distance from all adhesive strips to form a number of sealing profiles. A corresponding sealing profile is produced in this way.

A sealing element as well as a seal is for sealing a corrugation of a fluted metal deck. The sealing element is moldable and self-adhesive and has a predefined geometry adapted to seal the corrugation. Furthermore, a method is for installing a wall configuration, preferably a drywall configuration, to a fluted metal deck with corrugations.

In particular, the thermal insulating and sealing system comprises a first element comprising a top framing component having an interior wall surface and an opening, positioned substantially in the height of the floor, wherein the top framing component is located on top of the interior wall surface of the spandrel panel, and a second element comprised of a thermally resistant and/or air tight material for insulating, positioned at least partially in the top framing component of the first element, wherein the second element includes an inner end surface positionable in abutment with respect to the outer edge of the floor for sealing thereadjacent, outer end surface positionable in abutment with respect the interior wall surface of the top framing component, a lower facing surface extending between the inner end surface and the outer end surface and facing downwardly therebetween, and an upper facing surface extending between the inner end surface and the outer end surface and facing upwardly therebetween.

A method of manufacturing includes providing a continuous flat cover to an assembly line, where the assembly line includes a conveying means. The method also includes applying a flowable reaction material continuously to the flat cover, where the reaction mixture is configured to expand within the flat cover. The method also includes welding the continuous flat cover around the reaction mixture to form an initial profile element. The method also includes cutting the initial profile element, continuously along the assembly line, to form one or more profile elements. Each of the one or more profile elements is a portion of the initial profile element, and each of the one or more profile elements includes a geometry for conforming with a construction component.

Described is a construction and parts of the construction for effectively thermally and acoustically insulating and sealing of a head of wall joint within a building construction having a metal deck construction defined by a head of a wall and a metal fluted deck comprising one or more flutes, wherein the head of wall is defined by a head of wall track including vertical studs and a dry wall affixed thereto, and wherein the head of wall track is installed parallel to the flute to the underside of the metal fluted deck defining a head of wall joint extending between the top edge of the dry wall and the underside of the metal fluted deck.

A sealing strip is for sealing drywall connecting joints. The sealing strip has a centre web with two longitudinal edges, wherein along each longitudinal edge, a sealing profile is arranged having a first profile section, which is arranged along the allocated longitudinal edge and has a first thickness in the transverse direction of the centre web. A drywall can be used as an attachment to a connecting building element. The drywall includes a connecting profile, at least one drywall panel, and at least one flat sealing device. The flat sealing device extends in an extent direction and has, transverse thereto, a retaining portion for positioning between a base portion and the connecting building element, a sealing portion, and a positioning portion for positioning on an outer side of the drywall panel. The flat sealing device is so disposed that a cavity is formed between an edge of the drywall panel, the connecting building element, the limb portion of the connecting profile, and the sealing portion.
