A process for producing a colored image by laminating a light-sensitive material comprising a temporary support film (i), a colored light-sensitive layer and a heat-activable adhesive layer onto an image-receiving material at elevated temperature and under pressure, subjecting the light-sensitive layer to imagewise exposure and developing by peeling off the support film, characterized in that the image-receiving material comprises a light-sensitive compound which, on irradiation, releases a gas which remains trapped in the image-receiving material in the form of gas bubbles. The advantage of the process is that, on irradiation under a halftone original, the size of the halftone dots in the coloured image produced on such an image-receiving material is optically reduced.

A process for the production of a photopolymerizable recording material comprised of a layer support and a solid, dry photopolymerizable layer which contains, as the essential constituents: (a) a polymeric binder which is insoluble in water and soluble in aqueous-alkaline solutions, (b) an acrylic or methacrylic acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol, which is polymerizable by a free-radical process, and (c) an initiator capable of photo-inducing the free-radical polymerization, in which process the photopolymerizable layer is treated with ammonia or an oxidizing agent. This treatment substantially reduces the cold flow of the layer.

The invention relates to an adhesive composition which is suitable for use on a shaped part of polyester, in particular a polyester film, and comprises a copolyester, optionally in combination with light-sensitive substances, fillers and pigments, whereby the copolyester additionally contains at least one copolymer of vinylidene chloride, preferably in a weight ratio of about 3:1 to 1:1. The adhesive composition can furthermore contain cellulose acyl esters, such as low molecular-weight cellulose acetobutyrate or cellulose propionate. Polybasic oxycarboxylic acids and levelling agents can also be present. The adhesive composition can be employed in mixtures with, for example, light-sensitive lacquer systems.
