A pump piston and/or elements sealing the pump piston, in particular a sealing ring of elastomeric material with an additionally applied coating are/is proposed. To improve the durability characteristics, the pump piston and/or the elements sealing the pump piston have a coating which is formed at least predominantly of halogen-, silicon-, carbon-containing and/or metal-organic monomers. Furthermore, a device and a method for coating an object of elastomeric material utilizing a plasma are proposed.

The invention relates to a piston pump for a hydraulic, slip-controlled vehicle brake system. The piston pump has a piston, which is inserted with a part of its length into a sleeve. A tubular filter that encompasses the piston is attached to the sleeve and constitutes a captive retainer, which secures the piston in a captive fashion in the sleeve. In order to reduce an axial mobility of a sealing ring that seals the piston in the pump housing, the invention proposes attaching the filter, which limits the axial mobility of the sealing ring, to the sleeve in an axially mobile fashion.

The invention relates to a piston pump for a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle brake system. To make a piston of the piston pump easy and inexpensive to manufacture, the invention proposes that the piston be comprised of a sleeve-like shaped part and a valve seat part that is made of plastic and is press-fitted into the shaped part. A high-pressure-side sealing lip is formed onto the valve seat part and is of one piece with it. By means of a tubular support body, a restoring spring is supported on the valve seat part spaced apart from a valve seat of the valve seat part and spaced apart from the sealing lip, which prevents the valve seat and the sealing lip from being impaired by the force of the restoring spring.

Piston pump

A piston pump intended especially for use in a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle brake system. The piston pump is inserted into a cylinder bore, the piston pump has a piston, a bush, and a closure element that tightly closes the cylinder bore. The closure element is joined radially movably to the bush, for instance via caulking. This joint has the advantage that the piston pump can be assembled into a compact, easily manipulated, and sturdy component unit, and that the closure element and the bush are aligned with one another on being inserted into the cylinder bore.

The invention is directed to a piston pump for a hydraulic vehicle brake system. For simple and inexpensive manufacturability, the piston pump embodies an outlet conduit as a groove in a sleeve bottom and a sealing part. As a result, the sleeve and the sealing part can be manufactured in a non-cutting manner by means of forming. Another advantage of letting the outflow conduit into the sleeve bottom is that the outlet conduit is disposed a small distance in the axial direction from a valve seat of an outlet valve, which counteracts noise production.

The diaphragm acted upon by ambient pressure creates a pumping effect, if a fluid pressure in the fluid storage element drops below ambient pressure in an intake stroke of the piston.

The invention relates to a piston pump having a piston that is axially displaceable in a bush. In order to keep the piston in the bush in a manner secured against loss, a tubular filter is secured to the bush in the extension thereof; the filter has a smaller inside diameter than the bush and in this way keeps the piston in the bush.

The electrohydraulic directional control valve system includes a preliminary directional control valve and a main control valve, the latter having a control spool which is normally brought into its neutral or blocking position by means of two springs arranged in pressure chambers at respective ends of the control spool. The preliminary control valve has a sliding spool which at one end is urged by a spring into an additional safety position in which the pressure chambers of the main control valve are interconnected and pressure relieved, and the intake of the pressure fluid is blocked. A single proportionally operating solenoid counteracts the spring at the other end of the control spool of the preliminary control valve.

Electrohydraulic directional control valve system

A spool valve arrangement includes a housing having a flow-through passage formed with a fluid-admitting inlet and a pair of fluid-discharging outlets, and a pair of pressure-relief chambers each associated with a respective outlet for relieving pressure thereat. The arrangement further comprises a spool slide having respective ends each facing into one of the pressure-relief chambers and also has a pair of lands. The spool slide is mounted in the passage for movement from a neutral position in which the lands prevent communication between the inlet and the outlets and in which communication is also prevented between the latter and their associated chambers, towards operative positions in which pressure relief is permitted at a respective one of the outlets so that pressurized fluid escaping from one outlet into its associated chamber acts on the respective end of the slide which faces the latter and tends to accelerate the movement of the spool slide towards one of its operative positions. Attenuation elements, each formed with a deflecting surface positioned to be impinged by the pressurized fluid escaping into the respective pressure-relief chamber, dampens the acceleration of the spool slide and slows the movement of the latter towards the respective operative positions.
