A filler element includes a housing, a channel formed therein, a valve in the channel, an opening downstream from the valve that dispenses content into a container when the valve is open, a tube for fill-level adjustment, a controlled gas channel, and a collection space. The tube, which adjusts a fill level of content in the container, projects past the dispensing opening and extends into an interior of the container during filling thereof. This tube connects to a collection space separated from a content vat from which the content comes through the channel. To adjust the desired fill level, a gas pressure is applied to the interior through the tube, thereby displacing excess content from the container. The controlled gas channel permits the gas to enter the container interior.

A closing machine for closing containers has closing stations. Each station has a closer tool, a magnetically acting coupling element, a drive space, a product space, a linear drive, and a driver. The magnetically acting coupling element has inner and outer magnet elements. The drive space is formed separately from the product space. The linear guide positively drives the outer magnet element. The driver positively carries along said closer tool in a required height movement.

Filling element and filling machine for filling bottles or similar containers

In a method for filling bottles or similar containers with a liquid under back pressure, at least a first flushing and a second flushing of the interior of the respective bottle are conducted in chronological sequence during a pre-treatment phase which precedes the actual priming of the respective container, by the timed introduction of a specified quantity of inert gas, with a subsequent evacuation of the interior of the bottle. The introduction of the specified quantity of inert gas takes place in a timed manner during each flushing, and is performed independently of the capacity at which the bottling system is currently being operated.

Method for bottling a liquid in bottles or similar containers

An apparatus for monitoring the thermal treatment or sterilization of bottles or similar containers in a container-treatment machine that has a transport element that, for treatment at treatment stations, moves containers along a transport section between a container inlet and a container outlet. Thermal treatment of the containers with a hot medium is effected in a portion of the transport section. For monitoring purposes, at least one temperature sensor is provided for measuring the temperature of containers that have been heated up by the hot medium.
