Packaging material, for example, for tube bodies, bearing a hologram-like image. The packaging material is formed for a multilayered material with a layer structure containing: (a) a completely or partially embossed metal foil or metallized plastic film, and (b) on top, at least in specific areas, a transparent single or multilayered plastic layer. The plastic layer (b) forms the outer lying layer of the packaging. The embossed image on the metal foil (a) is visible through the transparent areas of the plastic layer (b). The packaging material gives the observer the impression of viewing a hologram-like image.

Packing material

A composite plastic film comprises a plastic film which is coated, as desired at least on one side, with ceramic material deposited using a vacuum thin layer deposition process and a plastic layer deposited by extrusion coating on the plastic film or on the ceramic layer which may be present, such that the ceramic layer is situated between the plastic film and the plastic layer deposited by extrusion coating. In order to improve the strength of bonding, a metal layer of chromium, aluminum, nickel, titanium, iron, molybdenum or an alloy made up from at least two of these metals is provided, as an aid to bonding, between the plastic film or on the ceramic layer which may be present and the plastic layer deposited by extrusion coating. A thin metal layer deposited in such an amount that it has a thickness of approximately 0.1 to 0.5 nm corresponding to a monatomic coverage is sufficient for this purpose.

Composite film and process for its manufacture

Multilayer film material (22) for manufacturing a pipe-shaped body (21) of tube (17). The film material (22) contains at least one barrier layer (10). The film material (22) is of thickness (d) extending form the outside (14) of the pipe-shaped body (21) to the inside of the same. At least one barrier layer (10) is arranged within a distance (a) of the inside (15) of the pipe-shaped body (21). The distance (a) represents 5 to 40% of the total thickness (d) representing 100 percent. The film material used on a tube exhibits therefore a barrier layer which lies close to the inside of the tube and hence also close to the contents of the tube. Volatile constituents of the tube contents beings able to penetrate essentially only to the barrier layer and are not able to become concentrated in the other, thick layers of the wall.

Removable contents such as a tablet, capsules or ampoules reside in each of the recesses and may be removed therefrom by pressing the recess in question and penetrating the lid foil or by removing the lid foil over the recess. The blister pack features a movable lid or a clamping element which covers at least one recess, and the clamping element is arranged in such a manner that it can be slid over the lid foil, and the clamping element closes off again at least one recess where the lid foil has been penetrated or peeled back, or closed again at least one recess which on filling was left unfilled and without lid.

Blister pack without additional outer packaging for pharmaceuticals, having a base with a plurality of recesses that are surrounded by a shoulder and a lid foil attached to the shoulder, where removable contents are accommodated in the recesses and can be removed therefrom by pressing in the recess in question and penetrating the lid foil or by removing the lid foil over the recess, and having an accompanying leaflet. The accompanying leaflet represents part of the blister pack and is situated within the confines of the blister pack, for example in a compartmemt in the base or in a gripping facility on one side of the blister pack.

A metal strip is used for elements in a regenerative heat exchanger employed for the exchange of latent and sensible heat from a warm outgoing air stream to a cold ingoing air stream. The strip is placed alternatingly in the form of flat and corrugated sheets to form flow channels for the warm and cold air. The metal strip, for example, an aluminum foil, is coated or laminated at least on one side with a paper-like hydrophillic material. The hydrophillic layer comprises a mixture of cellulose fibers and fibers with olefin hydrocarbons as basis. Furthermore, fungicides can be added to the mixture.
