The invention relates to a composite element comprising a) a core made of a foam or of a porous material, b) an outer layer applied to the core a), and, c) a foil c) made of a thermoplastic and differing from the outer layer b).

Composite elements

The invention relates to a composite material having two or more superimposed wood layers. Said layers are joined together by means of a one component polyurethane adhesive containing a prepolymer having free NCO groups and a wood having a volume fraction of libriform fibres in the region of between 50-70% is used.

The invention relates to the use of a composite material having two or more superimposed layers of wood as a support element in structural engineering, nautical, vehicle and aircraft constructions, energy production systems, mining or in the production of furniture. The wood layers are joined together by means of a one component polyurethane adhesive containing a prepolymer with free NCO groups and the wood has a structure having a volume fraction of libriform fibers of between 50%-70%.
