The present invention relates to a process for semi-permanent straightening and permanent shaping hair, especially human hair, for improved and milder semi-permanent straightening and permanent shaping. It is found out that when commonly used permanent shaping reducing composition is mixed with another composition comprising predominantly carboxylic acids, the permanent shaping effect of the composition is improved, homogeneous shaping of hair fibers is achieved and natural cosmetic properties of hair is maintained and hair may be semi-permanently straightened before such process.

Process for semipermanent straightening and permanent shaping hair

The present invention relates to a process for permanent shaping and dyeing carried out one after another with compositions providing improved and milder shaping and dyeing of hair, especially human hair. The inventors of the present invention have unexpectedly found out that when commonly used permanent shaping and dyeing compositions are mixed with another composition comprising predominantly carboxylic acids, the permanent shaping and dyeing effects of the compositions are improved, homogeneous permanent shaping and dyeing of hair fibers is achieved and natural cosmetic properties of hair are maintained.

Process for treating hair

The present invention relates to a hair dyeing process for improved and milder dyeing of hair, especially human hair. The ready-to-use dyeing composition comprises carboxylic acids in addition to dyeing agents and oxidizing agents in order to improve dyeing efficiency with less loss of natural hair properties.

Process for oxidative dyeing hair

The present invention relates to a process for treating hair, especially human hair, wherein the hair is bleached and dyed in a subsequent order with compositions providing improved and milder bleaching and dyeing of hair. The inventors of the present invention have unexpectedly found out that when commonly used bleaching compositions and oxidative dyeing compositions are mixed with another composition comprising predominantly carboxylic acids, the bleaching and dyeing effects of the compositions are improved, homogeneous bleaching and dyeing of hair fibers is achieved and natural cosmetic properties of hair is maintained.
