A coaxial plug member comprises a housing, an inner contact, an outer contact and an insulating piece which is arranged between the inner and outer contacts. The outer contact is pivotally attached to the housing, as a result of which also the insulating piece received in the outer contact and the inner contact received in the insulating piece are able to pivot as a unit.

A plug connector for mounting on a circuit board is proposed, having a carrier body ( ), at least one surface mounting contact member ( ) disposed in the carrier body and at least one pass-through mounting contact member ( ) which is also disposed in the carrier body. In this manner; a good mechanical connection between the carrier body and the circuit board is achieved due to the pass-through mounting contact member, while the surface mounting contact member enables quick signal transmission towards the conductor track.

Plug connector

In a plug connector for mounting on a circuit board and having a carrier body ( ) in which at least one surface mounting contact member ( ) is disposed which comprises, at one end, a plug region for connection with a complementary plug connector and, on the other end, a connecting region ( ) which may be connected with the conductor track of the circuit board ( ), a reliable soldering to the conductor track of the circuit board shall be ensured irrespective of possible tolerances. For this purpose it is provided that the contact member comprises a connecting member ( ) which is connected with the connecting region ( ) in a mechanically flexible and electrically conductive manner and may be soldered to the conductor track of the circuit board ( ).

Coaxial plug connector for mounting on a circuit board

A coaxial connector which is adapted for SMT mounting at a printed circuit board and which comprises at one side a plug-in connecting end and at the other side, towards the printed circuit board, a terminal end, the coaxial contact being comprised of an electrically conductive outer jacket and a signal contact formed in one part and being electrically isolated with respect to the outer jacket by means of a dielectric, at least the signal contact contacting the printed circuit board by means of SMT, is characterized in that at least the electrical connection of the signal contact to the printed circuit board is achieved by means of a contact sleeve which is inserted into a reception socket in an isolating carrier frame, sandwiched between the coaxial connector and the printed circuit board, the contact sleeve being placed in an automatic mounting process on a solder pad and being fixed there after a reflow solder bath.

For an electrical contact element with a securing end for securing in an opening of a support plate, it is proposed to provide the securing end with a central bore and with axial slots, elastic tongues being formed, and to introduce a pressure element into the bore, the tongues being forced radially outward against the wall of the support plate opening as the pressure element is pressed into the bore.
