A bearing comprises: an inner ring; an outer ring rotatable relative to the inner ring; and an inductive sensor for detecting a measured variable corresponding to a rotation of the outer ring relative to the inner ring. The sensor comprises a stator torque-proof connected to one of the inner ring and the outer ring, and a rotor torque-proof connected to the other of the inner ring and the outer ring.

A level sensor () for a motor vehicle that comprises a housing (), a rotor () that is rotatably mounted on the housing (), a circuit board () that is enclosed by the housing () and contains at least a single stator as well as a connector (). The level sensor () should be improved in such a way that the rotor () is easy to mount on the housing () and that there is practically no play so that a relative position of the stator as compared to a rotor structure () is largely maintained. Overall, the sensor should also be inexpensive to manufacture. This is achieved by the circumstance that the housing () exhibits a cylinder () with a circular cross-section that is mounted on the outside, that the rotor () is made of plastic with the exception of the rotor structure () and that the rotor () is guided within the cylinder () and interlocks with the latter.

Level sensor

A level sensor for a motor vehicle includes a housing, a rotor rotatably mounted on the housing, and a printed circuit board enclosed in the housing. The printed circuit board includes at least one stator and is connected to a plug which can be attached to an opening in the housing, and seals the opening thereby. The printed circuit board and electronic components are readily and permanently protected against environmental influences. Housing has a chamber for accommodating the printed circuit board, and the opening is allocated to the chamber. The chamber is closed on all sides, with the exception of the opening. The printed circuit board can be inserted in the chamber in the manner of a drawer and can be positioned therein.

A sensor for measuring a variable, in particular a physical variable, includes at least one converter element converting the variable into an electrical signal. At least one electronic signal processing unit conditions and/or processes the electrical signal to provide a sensor signal. The at least one electronic signal processing unit has at least one diagnosis device. An interface passes on the sensor signal through a connection, in particular a cable connection, to an electrical device, in particular a control device. The diagnosis device causes a fault signal instead of the sensor signal to be present at the interface when a fault occurs, for clearly distinguishing a fault at the interface from a processing fault. A circuit having such a sensor and a method for operating the sensor and the circuit are also provided.

A wheel angle determining device includes a position sensor being provided on a vehicle wheel assembly to directly measure a wheel angle. The wheel assembly having a first portion being fixedly connected to a vehicle and a second portion being rotatable about an axis formed in a plane substantially perpendicular to a vehicle travel direction. The second portion of the vehicle wheel assembly including a vehicle wheel. The position sensor having a first end operatively connected to the first portion of the vehicle wheel assembly and a second end operatively connected to the second portion of the vehicle wheel assembly.

Wheel position sensor

A throttle-valve apparatus involves a throttle valve (D) mounted on a shaft (W) which is coupled to a cable line (S) for rotating the shaft. The apparatus includes a first engaging detent, or stop, mechanism, (A1) having a movable engagement point between the cable line and the shaft, a first coupling apparatus (K1) between the cable line and the shaft, and a positioning motor (M) which creates a throttle-valve apparatus whose operation, in a particular uncomplicated and cost effective manner, increases safety and dependability during operation of a motor vehicle. When the positioning motor is driven to drive the throttle valve it is relieved from overcoming a return force of a spring by the first coupling apparatus which includes a first coupling having a changeable or cancellable driving linkage whereby a driving engagement of the linkage is greatest in an immediate area of the movable engagement point of the detent mechanism.
