Example bearing lubrication system and methods of operating the same are disclosed herein. An example closed loop system to provide a lubricant to a fluid pump includes a lubrication flow network disposed within the fluid pump; a sensor fluidly coupled to the fluid pump to measure a condition of a fluid that is to enter the lubrication flow network; a first transport bus fluidly coupled to the lubrication flow network, the first transport bus to transport an inert gas; a controller to actuate a valve fluidly coupled to the first transport bus, the controller to transmit signals to the valve based on the condition of the fluid to cause the valve to open or close; and a separator fluidly coupled between an outlet of the fluid pump and the first transport bus, the separator to separate the fluid and the inert gas.

Bearing lubrication systems and methods for operating the same

A bearing assembly is disclosed. The bearing assembly includes a first race. Further, the bearing assembly includes a second race disposed concentric to the first race, where the second race has a radius that changes along an axial length of the bearing assembly. The bearing assembly also includes a housing disposed around the second race and operatively coupled to the second race. Moreover, the bearing assembly includes a plurality of support structures configured to detachably couple the second race to the housing, where the plurality of support structures are configured to disengage the second race from the housing to allow motion of the second race when a torque on the second race is greater than a threshold torque value.

A method and system for determining remaining useful life of an in-use injector of a reciprocating engine is disclosed. The method includes determining nozzle wear relationship data for different duty cycles of the in-use injector, and using the nozzle wear relationship data together with operating parameters for the reciprocating engine, and emission relationship data to determine actual emission levels for the in-use injector based on the wear relationship data and the emission relationship data.
