Provided herein is a combination therapy useful for the treatment breast cancer. The combination comprises an ER-alpha inhibitor and a CDK 4/6 inhibitor.

Combination therapies for the treatment of breast cancer

Disclosed herein are compounds, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and methods of using the compounds for treating breast cancer by administration to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of the compounds or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The breast cancer may be an ER-positive breast cancer and/or the subject in need of treatment may express a mutant ER-&#x3b1; protein.

Tetrasubstituted alkene compounds and their use

Compositions and methods are provided for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of AR-related diseases, such as prostate diseases, such as prostate cancer, breast cancer, and many other diseases. In particular, a novel and clinically relevant mutation at position 877 of the androgen receptor (AR) has been identified. Drug sensitivity can be predicted and therapeutic regimens can be planned on the basis of the presence or absence of this mutation. Polypeptides comprising, antibodies to, and polynucleotides encoding the mutant AR can be used to identity novel treatments. A double mutation in AR at positions 742 and 878 is also shown to be useful for patient stratification.
