The disclosure relates to Discontinuous Reception (DRX) based UE behavior. A user equipment (UE) is configured to perform operations comprising: obtaining a first DRX cycle; determining a second DRX cycle at least based on the first DRX cycle and a DRX cycle threshold, wherein the DRX cycle threshold is a highest value of DRX cycle that can support LEO (Low-Earth Orbit) cell measurement; and applying the second DRX cycle, comprising applying the second DRX cycle to measurement of at least one LEO cell of the serving cell and a neighbor cell, wherein at least one of the serving cell and the neighbor cell is a LEO cell.

DRX based UE behavior

A user equipment (UE) is provided to select an uplink transmission beam to communicate with a base station in a secondary cell of a carrier aggregation (CA) scheme. The UE can communicate with a first base station in a primary cell (PCell), and receive a command from the wireless network to activate a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission to a second base station in a secondary cell (SCell). The second base station can be in a being-activated state. The UE can determine whether an uplink spatial relation configuration is provided to the UE, and determine whether the UE supports beam correspondence. Based on the determinations, the UE can select an uplink transmission beam for the PUCCH transmission to the second base station.

This disclosure relates to techniques for performing wireless communications including exchanging information related to capability of processing reference signals. A user equipment device may provide capability information to a network. The capability information may indicate a number of reference signal resources that the user equipment device can process in a slot or other defined period of time. The user equipment device and the network may share a common set of definitions, counting rules, and approaches for interpreting the capability information. The network may configure reference signals for the user equipment device.

Different scaling factors may be used for different scenarios, conditions, or criteria. The same or different scaling factors may be used for the RLM evaluation period and the L1 indication interval. The scaling factor or a scaling factor index may be signaled to the UE by higher layer signaling. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Based on determining that the SSB is outside the DL BWP configured for the UE, at least one radio frequency (RF) communication parameter of the UE is adjusted to adjust an operating bandwidth of the UE, and the SSB is received using the adjusted operating bandwidth.

Systems, devices, and techniques for wireless communications based on one or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states are described. A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first downlink channel based on a current TCI state; receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a first slot, the PDSCH carrying a radio resource control (RRC) activation command in the first slot, the RRC activation command indicating a switch to a target TCI state; waiting until an end of a switching period triggered by the RRC activation command to use the target TCI state, the switching period being based on a RRC processing delay; and receiving, based on the end of the switching period, a second downlink channel based on the target TCI state in a second slot.

Mechanism and signaling on coreset and PUCCH resource grouping for multi-TRP operation

Methods, apparatuses, and systems are disclosed for configuring measurement timings in connection with UEs that are capable of signaling whether a measurement gap (MG) is needed to measure a target frequency carrier. For example, a measurement period may be determined for the target frequency carrier based on the UE indicating that it supports per-frequency range (FR) MGs, and determining that the FR of the target frequency carrier does not include any current serving cell(s). If the UE indicates that no MG is needed to measure the target frequency carrier, then the measurement period may be based on an SMTC, and may be further based on a predefined effective measurement gap repetition period (MGRP). If the UE indicates that a MG is needed, then the measurement period may be based on the SMTC, and may be further based on the effective MGRP or a per-UE MGRP.

In an example, a determination is made about whether a scheduled SRS transmission impacts a scheduled DL reception given the SRS Tx antenna port switching. If so, the SRS transmission and/or the DL reception are changed. In a further example, the UE can supports an SRS TA capability in conjunction with the SRS Tx antenna port switching capability. Techniques discussed herein can facilitate inter-cell interference mitigation. One example aspect is a user equipment (UE), configured to receive a network assistance indication associated with an interfering signal, where the interfering signal interferes with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. A time resource allocation of the interfering signal is different than a time resource allocation of the PDSCH transmission. The UE is further configured to determine an interference and noise covariance estimation mechanism based on the network assistance indication then perform interference and noise covariance estimation based on the noise covariance estimation mechanism. The UE is further configured to perform mitigation of the interfering signal using a mitigation mechanism based on the interference and noise covariance estimation.
