A vehicle headlight control device is provided with: a pedestrian detection unit which detects a pedestrian; and a headlight control unit which controls an irradiation state of a headlight. When the pedestrian detection unit detects a pedestrian within an irradiation range of the headlight, the headlight control unit executes dimming control for controlling the irradiation state of the headlight so that a periphery of the pedestrian is dimmed. The pedestrian is irradiated with a part of a high beam or a low beam, or marking light emitted from a dedicated light source. A dimming region is formed around the pedestrian by the dimming control, and contrast in brightness between the pedestrian and his/her surroundings can be raised.

Vehicle headlight control device

A switching device for a vehicle headlight of a vehicle having an Adaptive LED Headlight (ALH) mode. The switching device may include a steering column lever switch supported on a steering column of the vehicle so as to be movable between an initial position and a predetermined moved position by a moving operation input, an ALH switch configured to receive a switching operation input that sets the ALH mode, and a controller configured to change the irradiation mode of the headlight according to a position of the lever switch and the switching operation input received by the ALH switch.

Switching device for vehicle headlight

Provided is a vehicle shutter capable of detecting a flap to which power transmission is cut off by providing turn restriction units each having a simple structure in flaps. The vehicle shutter is provided with: a plurality of flapscapable of opening and closing an outside air introduction pathfor introducing outside air into an engine compartment and arranged in parallel to each other so as to cross the outside air introduction path; a linkage operation section linking the flapswith each other to perform an opening/closing operation of the flaps; a drive section driving the flapsto be open and closed through the linkage operation section; an abnormality detection section detecting an abnormality of the flapson the basis of an operating state of the drive section; and an abnormality notification section notifying the abnormality to a user on the basis of output from the abnormality detection section. Opening failure detecting restriction unitsand closing failure detecting restriction unitsare formed on adjacent flapsas turn restriction units which restrict, when power transmission to one of the adjacent flapsfrom the drive section is cut off, the other flapfrom turning.

Vehicle shutter

A grill shutter unit comprises a shutter unit provided in back of a traveling-air introductory port formed at a front end of a vehicle body and including shutter members, and a traveling-air guide member including a guide frame portion provided at an outer peripheral edge portion of the shutter unit and a seal portion provided to extend forward continuously from a front end of the guide frame portion and be made from soft synthetic resin having more flexibility than the frame portion, wherein the grill shutter unit is configured such that when the shutter members are closed, a seal portion of the traveling-air guide member is pressed against an outer peripheral wall face of the traveling-air introductory port by pressure of traveling air shut off by the shutter members closed.
