Providing a housing including an insulating material and a terminal integrated with the housing and including a conductive material, wherein the housing includes a protrusion extending in the longitudinal direction of the connector, the terminal includes a plate portion that extends in the vertical direction, the surface thereof exposed to one side surface of the protrusion; an opposing plate portion that extends in the vertical direction, the surface thereof exposed to another side surface of the protrusion; a coupling portion that couples the upper end of the plate portion and the upper end of the opposing plate portion; and a securing portion connected to the lower end of the plate portion, and a stepped portion is formed at the boundary of the surface of the plate portion and the surface of the coupling portion and the surface of the securing portion is covered by the insulating material.

Connector

A first connector body includes a recess having a substantially rectangular shape in a planar view filled with a plurality of first connection units arranged in close contact in the longitudinal direction of the first connector body, wherein each first connection unit includes a first terminal and a first shield having a rectangular cylindrical shape with a substantially rectangular cross-section surrounding the periphery of the first terminal and extending in the mating direction.

Connector and connector assembly

Provided is a low-cost and high-reliability connector in which a guide member integrally formed with a housing guides a leg part of a terminal so that the position of the leg part of the terminal can be stabilized with a simple configuration. A connector includes a housing; terminals that include leg parts to be connected to a board, and are integrally formed with the housing; and guide members that are integrally formed with the housing and guide the leg parts. The leg parts each include: a horizontal part that protrudes toward a back side from the housing; a vertical part with a part around a distal end to be connected to the board; and a curved part through which the horizontal part and the vertical part are connected with each other. A gap is provided between a back surface of the guide member and a front surface of the vertical part.

A connector includes a housing, a terminal installed in the housing, and a latch member. The housing has a top plate part including a spring part that has a cantilever form and is formed by cutting off a part of the top plate part. The latch member includes a main body part, an engagement part connected to a front end of the main body part, and an operation part that is connected to a back end of the main body part and is capable of coming into contact with a free end portion of the spring part, and the latch member is attached to the top plate part to be capable of swinging.

A connector includes a lock member attached to a housing and configured to lock a terminal inside the housing. The lock member includes: a substantially plate-shaped base portion located in an outside of the housing; a first attachment portion provided in the base portion and configured to attach the lock member to the housing; and a locking portion configured to lock the terminal so that the terminal is held inside the housing. The base portion includes a first extension portion formed to extend, from the first attachment portion, in a longitudinal direction of the housing. The first extension portion includes a second attachment portion formed to attach the lock member to the housing.

A connector is provided which has a main body, a contact part, a tail part, and a plurality of terminals. The main body is made of an insulating material formed in a columnar shape extending in an inserting and extracting direction with a counterpart connector. The plurality of terminals are made of a conductive material loaded in the main body. The terminals are arranged around an axial wire extending in the inserting and extracting direction of the main body so that the position of the tail part forms a polygon in a plan view in a direction perpendicular to the axial wire. The main body includes a tail holding part extending in an axial wire direction. The tail part of each adjacent terminal is exposed at a different position in the axial wire direction in the tail holding part.

A connector that is connected to a mating connector includes: an outer housing; and an inner housing module fit in the outer housing. The inner housing module includes: a resin portion including an attachment portion and a base portion extending from the attachment portion; upper surface shield plates and side surface shield plates that are provided on an outer side of the base portion, and are electrically connected to each other; and a signal terminal provided on an inner side of the base portion, and the upper surface shield plates, the side surface shield plates, the signal terminal, and the resin portion are integrally formed.

A shield terminal includes a contact part surrounding a center terminal and a dielectric body and configured to come into contact with a terminal of a target connector, a connecting part surrounding a shield wire and connected to the shield wire, and a catching-target part surrounding a coaxial cable. The contact part, the connecting part, and the catching-target part are bent and formed integrally into a cylindrical shape to surround a center line of the coaxial cable. A housing includes, inside an insertion hole, a catching face configured to come into contact with a part of a front edge of the catching-target part to restrict the shield terminal from moving forward.

A card connector has an inserted card module including electrode pads provided on one surface. The card connector includes a housing provided with connection terminals arranged so as to contact the electrode pads of the card module. The card connector includes a holding spring portion for holding a card module inserted into the card connector. The card connector includes an ejection mechanism able to change orientation between a first orientation and a second orientation. The ejection mechanism has the first orientation before a card module is inserted into the card connector, and the second orientation after a card module has been completely inserted into the card connector. The holding spring portion is displaceable when the ejection mechanism is in the first orientation, and non-displaceable when the ejection mechanism is in the second orientation.

Comprised are a sliding member for retaining a card and sliding in the forward/backward direction of a housing, and a locking member for sliding in the widthwise direction of the housing and locking the card received within the housing, the locking member comprising a sliding control part for controlling the sliding of the sliding member, the sliding control part preventing the sliding member from sliding when the locking member is in a first position, and allowing the sliding member to slide when the locking member is in a second position.
