Provided is a method for separating ammonia gas using zeolite membrane having excellent separation stability at a high temperature capable of separating ammonia gas from a mixed gas composed of multiple components including ammonia gas, hydrogen gas, and nitrogen gas to the permeation side with high selectivity and high permeability. Also provided is a method for separating ammonia by selectively permeating ammonia gas from a mixed gas containing at least ammonia gas, hydrogen gas, and nitrogen gas using a zeolite membrane, wherein the ammonia gas concentration in the mixed gas is 1.0% by volume or more.

Provided is a method for producing an inexpensive, high-performance AEI type zeolite and an AEI type zeolite having a Si/Al ratio of 6.5 or less and an acidity of 1.2 mmol/g or more and 3.0 mmol/g or less, by using neither an expensive Y type zeolite as a raw material nor dangerous hydrofluoric acid. The method for producing an AEI type zeolite having a Si/Al ratio of 50 or less includes: preparing a mixture including a silicon atom material, an aluminum atom material, an alkali metal atom material, an organic structure-directing agent, and water; and performing hydrothermal synthesis of the obtained mixture, in which a compound having a Si content of 20% by weight or less and containing aluminum is used as the aluminum atom material; and the mixture includes a zeolite having a framework density of 14 T/1000 &#x212b;or more in an amount of 0.1% by weight or more with respect to SiOassuming that all Si atoms in the mixture are formed in SiO.

AEI type zeolite, method for producing same, and uses thereof

A dehumidifying apparatus includes first, second, and third heat exchangers; moisture adsorbing material; a fan to force air through the first heat exchanger, the moisture adsorbing material, the second heat exchanger, and the third heat exchanger; a compressor having a discharge side connected to the third heat exchanger; and an expansion valve configured to reduce the pressure of a refrigerant condensed by the first heat exchanger or the second heat exchanger. The third heat exchanger has a fin pitch smaller than a fin pitch of the first heat exchanger and a fin pitch of the second heat exchanger. The third heat exchanger is smaller than the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. This arrangement provides a small, low-cost dehumidifying apparatus.

Dehumidifying apparatus

A dehumidifier includes a compressor, a flow path switch, a first heat exchanger, a pressure-reducing device, a second heat exchanger, a moisture adsorption member that is arranged between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger, a fan, a storage unit configured to store an operation time map, and a temperature and humidity detection unit. The controller controls the flow path switch that switches a first operation mode to adsorb moisture by the moisture adsorption member and a second operation mode to desorb moisture adsorbed by the moisture adsorption member. The controller acquires a first time and a second time corresponding to the temperature and humidity detected by the temperature and humidity detection unit from the operation time map, and controls the flow path switch in accordance with the acquired first time and second time.

A dehumidification device according to the present invention includes an operation control unit configured to switch between thermo-on for circulating refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit and thermo-off for suspending circulation of the refrigerant, and an operation mode control unit configured to switch an operation mode to any one of a first operation mode in which a moisture adsorption unit is caused to adsorb moisture and a second operation mode in which moisture retained in the moisture adsorption unit is caused to be desorbed. The operation mode control unit is configured to select the operation mode at a time when the thermo-on is switched from the thermo-off in response to the operation mode and a relative humidity of air in switching from the thermo-on to the thermo-off.
