An impact tool includes a brushless motor having a rotor extending in a front-rear direction and disposed in a motor housing constituted by left, right and rear motor housings. A battery pack is disposed below the motor housing in an up-down direction. A plurality of first screws extend in a left-right direction and fix the left motor housing to the right motor housing. A plurality of second screws extend in the front-rear direction and fix the rear motor housing to the left and right motor housings. A fan is disposed between the rotor and the rear motor housing, a grip housing is disposed downward of the motor housing, and a planetary gear mechanism is disposed frontward of the motor. A spindle is disposed frontward of the planetary gear mechanism, a hammer is disposed on an outer circumference of the spindle, and an anvil is disposed frontward of the hammer.

Impact tool

A power tool, such as a hammer driver-drill (), includes a spindle () that is axially and rotatable supported inside a metal gear case (). A first cam () is affixed to the spindle so as to rotate therewith and is housed in the gear case (). A second cam () is disposed around spindle such that it is rotatable separately with respect to the spindle and can be brought into contact with the first cam. Hammer-switching levers () are movable relative to the gear case between an advanced position, at which rotation of the second cam is restricted (blocked), and a retracted position, at which the rotational restriction on the second cam is released. Receiving members () are respectively interposed between the gear case and the hammer-switching levers and are configured to absorb vibration generated when a hammering operation is being performed using the power tool.

An impact driver or impact tool includes a motor, a motor housing that houses the motor, a grip housing integrally provided with the motor housing, a hammer case is disposed frontward of the motor housing, a spindle rotated by the motor, a hammer housed inside the hammer case and configured to be rotated by the spindle, and an anvil housed inside the hammer case which anvil is configured to be impacted by the hammer. In this impact driver, a length from a rear end of the motor housing to a front end of the anvil (i.e., the front-rear length of a main body) is less than 128 mm.

Power tool

Three battery cells can be arranged such that one battery cell is situated on the front side of a handle portion and that the remaining two battery cells are situated on the rear side thereof while being arranged laterally side by side. Also, a handle portion can be generally of a triangular cross-sectional configuration whose apex portion is situated on the front side of the handle portion and whose base portion is situated on the rear side thereof; and the handle portion is grasped by bringing fingertips into contact with the apex portion () on the front side.

An electric caulking gun may include a main body portion including a cartridge setting portion to which a cartridge containing a caulking material can be set, an electric motor disposed within the main body portion, and a push rod configured to be pressed against the cartridge for dispensing the caulking material from the cartridge. The push rod may be coupled to the electric motor so as to advance and retract along a moving path. The electric motor may extend in a right and left direction across a vertical plane including the moving path of the push rod.

Caulking guns

A sleeve body with bearings interposed between the sleeve body and a center shaft portion is integrally coupled to an oil pulse generator. A coupling body is rotatable together with the output portion. Balls are fitted between an outer surface of the sleeve body and an inner surface of the coupling body. Cam grooves are L-shaped in plan view, and formed in a portion of the outer surface of the sleeve body at which the balls are fitted. Rotation of the output portion is transmitted from the coupling body to the sleeve body and the oil pulse generator via the balls. When rotational speed between the sleeve body and the coupling body is different, the balls relatively turn in the cam grooves to move the coupling body forward against an urging force of the coil spring so as to relieve an impact.

The cover is provided with engaging pieces that engage with a recessed groove provided on the outer peripheral surface of a hammer case and hold the cover on the hammer case to prevent the cover from being detached. The cover is also provided with bumper receiving portions extending from the front end of the cover and allowing the bumper to be externally attached to the cover, and engaging claws formed on the bumper receiving portions and engaging with engaged recessed portions formed on the inner peripheral surface of the bumper for holding the bumper to prevent the bumper from being detached from the cover. The cover with the bumper attached to the bumper receiving portions is provided to the hammer case.

An electric wheeled apparatus comprises a main body, a drive wheel supported by the main body in a rotatable manner, an electric motor configured to apply torque to the drive wheel, a battery holder configured to removably receive a plurality of battery packs, and a circuit unit configured to electrically connect one or more battery packs attached to the battery holder to the motor regardless of a number of battery packs attached to the battery holder.

An impact tool includes: a spindle disposed in a housing; an anvil disposed in front of the spindle and rotatably supported by the housing through a metal bearing, a rear surface of the anvil having a bearing hole in which a front end of the spindle is received; an impact mechanism configured to transmit a rotation of the spindle to the anvil; an outer groove formed on an outer periphery of the anvil and opposed to the metal bearing; and a connecting opening radially extending in the anvil and connecting the bearing hole and the outer groove to provide a communication therebetween. The outer groove is formed to have a depth in the range of 3-10% of an outer diameter of the anvil, and the connecting opening opens at a rear end of the outer groove in an axial direction of the anvil.
