A balloon catheter includes a balloon, an inner shaft, an outer shaft, and a reinforcing member that includes a protruded part that contacts with an inner surface of the outer shaft and an outer surface of the inner shaft. A pushing force of an operator can be evenly transmitted to the outer shaft and the inner shaft from the distal end of the reinforcing member, reducing a relative displacement of the outer shaft and the inner shaft.

Balloon catheter

A balloon catheter can evenly transmit a pushing force applied to a reinforcing member to an outer shaft and an inner shaft by fixing the distal end of the reinforcing member to an adhesion part of the outer shaft and the inner shaft. In a balloon catheter, the distal end of a reinforcing member is fixed by an adhesion part of an outer shaft and an inner shaft. Thus, a pushing force of an operator is evenly transmitted to the outer shaft and the inner shaft from the distal end of the reinforcing member through the adhesion part, reducing a relative displacement of the outer shaft and the inner shaft. Moreover, the adhesion part can reduce the detachment of the distal end of the reinforcing member from the outer shaft or the inner shaft.

In a medical equipment, a hollow shaft body is made of single-wound or plurally-wound coil line elements, and has a cylindrical tip portion formed on a distal end of the hollow shaft body, and a manipulative grip connected to a proximal side portion of the hollow shaft. At least one of an inner surface mid an outer surface of the hollow shaft, and at least one of an inner surface and outer surface of the tip portion are provided with a screw-like concave-convex streak of projection. The hollow shaft body has a diameter-reduced portion at the manipulative grip having a transparent portion, through which the diameter reduced portion is visible from outside.

Vascular catheter

A catheter body includes a hollow coil whose outer and inner surfaces are coated with outer and inner resin layers. A resin tip is provided at a distal end of the catheter body. The tip has a tapered section at a distal end of the tip. Also, an axially extending braid is embedded in the catheter body and the tip to extend from the catheter body to the tip.

A needle-like tubular body () with its tip formed as a needle, a first guide wire (), and a second guide wire () are inserted into a main tube (). A first opening and a second opening (and) through which a first guide wire and a second guide wire (and) are respectively extended out of the main tube () are provided in the main tube (). A projection aperture () through which the needle of the needle-like tubular body () is projected out of the main tube () is provided in the main tube (). A support tube () that supports the part of the second guide wire () extending from the second opening () is further provided in the main tube ().

Reagent injection device

A catheter body includes a coil body () which is formed by winding or stranding metal wires () and having a distal portion () and a proximal portion. The distance between coils () adjacent to each other in the distal portion () is greater than the distance between coils () adjacent to each other in the proximal portion (or). The pitch in the distal portion () of the coil body () is substantially or nearly the same as the pitch in the proximal portion (or).

Catheter and method of producing the same

It is an object of the present invention to provide an infusion device that can be easily inserted into the body and that when inserted into a blood vessel reliably ensures the flow of blood. The infusion device is provided with a needle-shaped tube member having a sharp tip in any one lumen of the three lumens provided within a tubular member that can be inserted into the body in such a manner that it can move axially, an extrusion aperture provided in the tubular member through which the needle-shaped tube member is extruded, and a reagent supplier for supplying a predetermined reagent into the needle-shaped tube member. Additionally, recessed portions extending axially are formed in an outer circumferential surface of the tubular member in such a manner that the cross sectional shape perpendicular to the axial direction of the tubular member is a shape in which at least a portion of the outer circumference of an annular shape has been recessed radially inward.

Infusion device

It is a purpose to provide a medicinal-liquid injection apparatus in which a needle-like tubular member is smoothly movable in a lumen without damaging an inner circumferential surface of the lumen. It includes that the needle-like tubular member having an acuminate needle portion as a free end portion thereof, in which a medicinal liquid can flow, is inserted in the lumen of a tubular main body insertable in a body of a living being, and a protection member having a flexible portion provided in a state such that the protection member is movable together with the needle-like tubular member and such that the flexible portion is interposed between an inner circumferential surface of the lumen and a tip of the needle portion of the needle-like tubular member.
