A drive unit includes: a rotary electric machine; a rotary electric machine case accommodating the rotary electric machine; an electric power conversion device electrically connected to the rotary electric machine and configured to convert electric power supplied to the rotary electric machine and electric power supplied from the rotary electric machine; and an output shaft extending out from the rotary electric machine case and configured to output power of the rotary electric machine. The electric power conversion device is arranged on one side of the rotary electric machine. The output shaft is arranged between the rotary electric machine and the electric power conversion device.

A method for manufacturing a stator for an electric rotary machine including a stator core formed by stacking a plurality of steel plates and a coil attached to the stator core, the method includes forming the steel plates, forming the stator core by stacking and fixing the plurality of steel plates with an adhesive, attaching the coil to the stator core, and changing a stack strength of the stator core, by deteriorating the adhesive such that a bending resonance frequency of the stator does not overlap with a pre-measured circular resonance frequency of the stator, the bending resonance frequency varying depending on the stack strength of the plurality of steel plates.

Method for manufacturing stator for electric rotary machine

A stator unit of a rotary electric machine, which includes a stator including a stator core in which a plurality of slots are formed at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction; and a stator coil inserted into the slots and having a coil end portion protruding from at least one end surface of the stator core; a stator holder disposed to surround an outer peripheral surface of the stator core and supporting the stator; and a refrigerant guide portion disposed above the coil end portion and configured to supply a first refrigerant to the coil end portion. The refrigerant guide portion protrudes from an end surface of the stator holder to above the coil end portion and is integrally formed with the stator holder.

Stator unit of rotary electric machine

A motor, a PDU that is disposed above the motor and that supplies driving electric power to the motor, and a cooling device that cools the motor and the PDU are accommodated in a casing. The cooling device includes an oil cooling system that drips cooling oil onto the motor and a water cooling system that cools the motor and the PDU by using cooling water. The oil cooling system includes a storage chamber that temporarily stores the cooling oil and that has a plurality of dripping holes for dripping the cooling oil. The storage chamber is disposed above the motor and below the PDU, and the cooling oil stored in the storage chamber is coolable by the cooling water of the water cooling system.

Integrated rotating electric apparatus

A vehicle drive device includes an electric motor that is configured to drive a vehicle, a case that houses therein the electric motor and a lubricating oil storage unit that stores lubricating oil, and a soundproof material that covers one side portion of the case. The one side portion of the case has a through hole through which a shaft member is inserted. An outer surface of the soundproof material is covered with a cover member. The cover member includes a partition wall portion that blocks a space between an opening of the through hole and the soundproof material.

A busbar terminal includes a fastening portion, a crimping portion, and a torsion portion. The fastening portion is electrically connected to a terminal base. The crimping portion is electrically connected to a conducting wire. The torsion portion electrically connects the fastening portion and the crimping portion. The torsion portion includes a twisted part between the fastening portion and the crimping portion.

An electric motor includes a housing, a rotor, a stator, a storage tank, and a communication passage. The stator has a stator core provided coaxially with the rotor to surround the rotor. The storage tank is provided at a lower portion of the housing to store lubricating oil and divided by the stator core into a first storage tank and a second storage tank. The communication passage is provided to communicate the first storage tank with the second storage tank. The communication passage, as seen in an axial direction, extends above an oil level of the lubricating oil stored in the first storage tank and the second storage tank such that an air flows between an upper portion of the first storage tank and an upper portion of the second storage tank.

A case of an electric rotating machine, includes: a cooling passage which is provided inside the case along a circumferential direction of the case and through which a cooling fluid is able to flow; a cooling fluid inlet and a cooling fluid outlet which communicate with the cooling passage; and a rib which is provided inside the cooling passage, connect a wall portion on an inside in a radial direction of the case and a wall portion on an outside in the radial direction of the cooling passage along the circumferential direction, are arranged to be separated from each other in an axial direction of the case, and partition the cooling passage into a plurality of cooling passages.

A unit housing for a motor unit includes a substantially cylindrical housing body, an end housing, and connectors. The end housing has a peripheral wall and an end wall. The connectors include bolts to connect respectively 3-phase power lines to the lead wires led from the ring-shaped stator. The peripheral wall includes a recess to secure an insulating space between an inner surface of the peripheral wall and each of the connectors. The recess is provided in the inner surface of the peripheral wall at a position close to the connectors. The inner surface of the peripheral wall is provided to linearly extend from a bottom surface of the recess toward an opening end of the peripheral wall.

An axial gap motor includes a rotor and a stator, and the rotor includes within a rotor frame a plurality of main magnet pieces which are disposed in a circumferential direction in such a manner that their magnetized direction is in a rotational axis direction and magnetic members which are disposed on surfaces of at least one sides in the rotational axis direction of the main magnet pieces. The magnetic member has a fitting portion on one end face in a radial direction of the rotor thereof which is adapted to fit in the rotor frame.
