An electrical part mounting apparatus includes a pressure measuring member for measuring the pressure of a pressure head, and a moving speed control member for controlling the moving speed of the pressure head. Accordingly, the electrical part mounting apparatus can freely change the pressure and the moving speed of the pressure head to desired values, and is suitable for connection between electrical parts.

Apparatus and method for mounting electrical parts

Disclosed is a flexible substrate whose conductor patterns can be firmly connected to conductor patterns of a printed circuit board. Conductor patterns for connection (4) are formed on one side of a flexible substrate so as to be opposed to conductor patterns (2) provided on a printed circuit board (1), wherein recesses (4b) or/and protrusions (4c) are provided on either side end of each conductor pattern for connection (4).

A liquid crystal display device of the present invention comprises a first substrate and a second substrate, each of which has a glass substrate, an electrode portion formed on the glass substrate, and an orientation film formed on the electrode portion. The first substrate and the second substrate are opposed to each other and have a liquid crystal layer encapsuled therebetween. The electrode portion includes: a display-portion electrode group formed within a display-screen region; an extraction electrode group leading the display-portion electrode group outward from at least one side of the display-screen region; and an external electrode group formed outside the display-screen region. The periphery of the external electrode group, positioned on an external area of a side on which the extraction electrode group in the display-screen region is not formed, is covered with the orientation film.

A liquid crystal display device includes a display pattern portion including a plurality of transparent electrodes extending mutually in parallel, a terminal portion including a plurality of lead patterns extending mutually in parallel with a pattern pitch narrower than that among the transparent electrodes, and connection patterns for connecting the transparent electrodes and the lead patterns. The connection patterns consist of first connection patterns leading obliquely from the transparent electrodes to extend mutually in parallel and having a common pattern width, and second connection patterns leading straight from the lead patterns to connect with the first connection patterns at a predetermined angle and having a common pattern width.
