An object of the present invention is to provide a micro powder capable of producing a thin film with precision thickness. This object is achieved by a micro powder having an average particle size of from 0.5 to 50 &#x3bc;m, obtained by grinding a liquid crystalline polyester having a flow beginning temperature of from 200&#xb0; C. to 270&#xb0; C.
