A communication device acquires schedule information in which a schedule of a user who uses a hybrid electric vehicle is recorded. The schedule information includes a traveling schedule for causing the hybrid electric vehicle to travel in a predetermined period. The predetermined period is a period from when fuel of an engine is refueled to a predetermined deterioration time. When a traveling distance in a long-distance traveling schedule is a first distance, an ECU increases a usage ratio of the engine in the predetermined period than when the traveling distance is a second distance that is longer than the first distance. The long-distance traveling schedule is a schedule included in the traveling schedule and in which the hybrid electric vehicle travels for a predetermined distance or longer.

Hybrid electric vehicle

A vehicle includes: a controller; a power receiving device that contactlessly receives power from a power transmitting facility; a battery chargeable using the power received by the power receiving device; and a power transmitting device that contactlessly outputs, to another vehicle, the power received by the power receiving device. The other vehicle contactlessly receives power from each of the power transmitting facility and the power transmitting device. When the other vehicle is unable to contactlessly receive the power from the power transmitting facility, the controller controls the power transmitting device to contactlessly output the power received by the power receiving device to the other vehicle in accordance with a request from the other vehicle.

Vehicle and charging system

A power conversion apparatus includes a transformer including a first winding, a second winding, and a third winding, a first switching circuit connected between an external power supply and the first winding, a second switching circuit connected between a main battery and the second winding, and a third switching circuit connected between an auxiliary battery and the third winding. The first switching circuit includes a power factor correction circuit, a smoothing capacitor configured to smooth a voltage of direct-current power output from the power factor correction circuit, and a relay provided in a power line between the smoothing capacitor and the first winding.

Power conversion apparatus

An ECU controls a vehicle including a power reception unit that can wirelessly receive electric power from a power feeding facility placed on a travel road. The ECU includes a memory in which a user-desired condition is stored, the user-desired condition being a condition under which a user of the vehicle desires on-road power reception, the on-road power reception being power reception from the power feeding facility placed on the travel road, and a processor connected to the memory. When a physical condition for power feeding from the power feeding facility to the vehicle is satisfied and when the user-desired condition stored in the memory is not satisfied, the processor controls the power reception unit to suppress on-road power reception.

Control device that controls electrically powered vehicle and method of controlling electrically powered vehicle

A power supply system includes a vehicle equipped with a battery, a power supply device, and a control device that controls power supply from the power supply device to the vehicle. The vehicle includes an engine and a motor that receives the power supplied from the battery to generate traveling drive force. When the power supply by the power supply device is requested from the vehicle, the control device (a) acquires a remaining amount of fuel for the engine from the vehicle, (b) outputs an instruction to urge the vehicle to shorten a charging time when the remaining amount of fuel is larger than a reference value, and (c) sets at least one of a unit price for charging power or a unit price for fuel lower when a response to accept the instruction is received from the vehicle compared with when the instruction is not accepted.

Power supply system, control device, and control method of power supply system

A power supply system for a vehicle is provided, and the system may include: a charging inlet connected to a main battery and connectable to a power supply external to the vehicle; a voltage converter configured to step down a power of the main battery by a switching element and supply the stepped-down power to a sub-battery; and a controller configured to control the voltage converter, in which the controller is configured to slow down a switching speed of the switching element, as compared with when the main battery is not being charged, while the charging inlet is connected to the power supply and the main battery is being charged by the power supply.
