A diode display includes a substrate having a first island and a second island spaced apart from each other, a first pixel disposed on the first island, and a second pixel disposed on the second island. The first pixel includes a first base layer, a first transistor on the first base layer, a first light emitting element electrically connected to the first transistor, and a first encapsulation layer covering the first light emitting element. The second pixel includes a second base layer, a second transistor on the second base layer, a second light emitting element connected to the second transistor, and a second encapsulation layer covering the second light emitting element.

Organic light emitting diode display

A display apparatus includes a display panel which is foldable at a folding area thereof; a foldable support which faces the display panel and is foldable together with the display panel; an elastic sheet between the foldable support and the display panel; a lower adhesive layer which is between the foldable support and the elastic sheet, and attaches the foldable support to the elastic sheet; and an upper adhesive layer which is between the elastic sheet and the display panel and attaches the elastic sheet to the display panel. Each of the foldable support, the elastic sheet, the lower adhesive layer and the upper adhesive layer is disconnected at the folding area.

Display apparatus

A display device including a flexible module including a display panel; an adhesive film disposed on one surface of the flexible module; support plates disposed on the adhesive film; a first anti-adhesive film pattern disposed between each of the support plates and the adhesive film; and a second anti-adhesive film pattern disposed between each of the support plates and the adhesive film and spaced apart from the first anti-adhesive film pattern. Display device

A display device reduces or minimizes a stress applied to a display panel in a folded state. The display device includes a display panel including a bendable area; and a panel support portion combined to the display panel and including a multi-joint member to support the bendable area, and the multi-joint member includes: a plurality of hard material portions sequentially arranged in a first direction, mutually combined to be rotated with respect to one another, and including a first surface arranged toward the bendable area; and a soft material portion contacting the first surface and fixed to the plurality of hard material portions.

A display device for reducing a stress applied to a display panel in a folded state is provided. The display device includes a display panel and a panel support portion. The display panel includes a bendable area. The panel support portion is combined to the display panel and includes a multi-joint member supporting the bendable area. The multi-joint member includes joint portions that are sequentially arranged, and a sliding member passing through the joint portions and moving inside the panel support portion. The sliding member includes a plate portion for arranging the joint portions, and a hook-shaped portion connected to a side of the plate portion and arranging the joint portions in a circular arc shape.

Foldable display device

A display device reduces or minimizes a stress received by a display panel in a folded state. The display device includes a display panel including a bendable area; and a panel support portion combined to the display panel and including a multi-joint member to support the bendable area, and the multi-joint member includes a plurality of joint portions sequentially arranged in a first direction and combined to each other to rotate with respect to one another, and at least one of the joint portions includes an elastic plate at an edge of a support side arranged toward the bendable area.

A foldable display device according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a display panel; a pair of rear surface supporters supporting a rear surface of the display panel; a fastener fastening the pair of rear surface supporters; and a pair of pivots respectively connecting the fastener and the pair of rear surface supporters, wherein a position of the pivot is determined by an equation below.&#x2212;(2&#xd7;)&#x2003;&#x2003;[Equation]Here, Dm represents an interval when the pair of rear surface supporters are folded in parallel, Dh represents a horizontal distance between centers of the pair of pivots, Oh represents an offset of the pivot, and the offset of the pivot is a value obtained by subtracting an upper surface height of the rear surface supporter when the rear surface.

An organic light emitting diode display includes a stretchable substrate, a plurality of pixel forming plates, first and second pixels, and a cut-out groove. The pixel forming plates are on the substrate and spaced apart from each other. The first and second pixels are on respective first and second pixel forming plates of the plurality of the pixel forming plates adjacent in a first direction. The first and second pixel forming plates are connected by a first bridge. The cut-out groove are in the first and second pixel forming plates and adjacent to an area connected to the first bridge.

An apparatus for supporting a display panel includes: first and second supports configured to support the display panel, the first and second supports being rotatable about a rotation axis; a first frame coupled to a side of the first support and configured to be rotated with the first support; and a second frame coupled to a side of the second support and configured to be rotated with the second support, wherein the first support includes a first supporting pin having ends coupled to the first frame and being parallel to the rotation axis, and first and second support plates at opposite sides of the first supporting pin, wherein the first supporting plate is pivotably coupled to the first supporting pin.

Apparatus for supporting display panel

A foldable display device includes a display panel and a panel supporting unit. The display panel has a first surface in which a display unit is positioned and a second surface opposite to the first surface and including a bendable region. A panel supporting unit faces the second surface and is coupled to the display panel. The panel supporting unit includes a plurality of link members arranged in parallel along a first direction by corresponding to the bendable region of the display panel in an unfolded state, each of the plurality of link members respectively having a first supporting surface facing the display panel and coupled to be rotated about two rotational axes in a folded state. The two rotational axes of each of the plurality of link members are separated from the first supporting surface in a direction from the second surface toward the first surface.
