A heat pump system for a vehicle may include a compressor, a first condenser, a receiver dryer, a second condenser, a first expansion valve, an evaporator, a first refrigerant connection line, a chiller, a second expansion valve, and a gas injection device. The flow of the refrigerant is controlled based on at least one mode for a temperature adjustment of a vehicle interior or for a temperature adjustment of a battery module. As a result, the heat pump system is capable of cooling or heating a vehicle interior by using a high-temperature coolant and a low-temperature coolant. Additionally, the heat pump system is capable of improving a heating performance by employing a gas injection device selectively operating at the time of cooling or heating a vehicle interior to increase the flow amount of the refrigerant.

A heat pump system for a vehicle cools or heats the vehicle interior by using a natural refrigerant, and efficiently adjusts the temperature of a battery module by using a single chiller that exchanges heat between refrigerant and coolant.

A refrigerant circulating apparatus of a vehicle includes a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant, at least one heat-exchanger configured to exchange with the refrigerant, at least one valve configured to selectively provide the refrigerant to the at least one heat-exchanger, a bracket that supports the compressor, and a fluid line plate that is coupled to the bracket and disposed adjacent to the at least one heat-exchanger and the at least one valve. The fluid line plate includes a plurality of fluid lines defined inside the fluid line plate and configured to provide the refrigerant to the at least one heat-exchanger based on operation of the at least one valve.

A thermal energy module includes a housing having an open first surface and is filled with a refrigerant. Partition walls partition an interior of the housing into a compressing part, a condensing part, and an evaporating part. A compressor is provided in the compressing part. A first heat-exchanger is provided in the condensing part and configured to condense a compressed refrigerant supplied from the compressor by heat-exchange with a coolant. An expansion valve is configured to expand a refrigerant supplied from the condensing part to be supplied to the evaporating part. A second heat-exchanger is provided in the evaporating part and configured to heat-exchange a refrigerant supplied from the expansion valve with the coolant drawn into the interior of the housing to evaporate. A cover mounted on the open first surface of the housing closes and seals the interior of the housing.

An embodiment multi-way coolant valve includes an outer housing including first to third outer inlets, first to third outer outlets, and a pump mount portion coupled to one of the outer outlets, an inner housing rotatably provided within the outer housing and including penetration holes corresponding to the outer inlets and outlets, a coolant line defined by a selective connection of the penetration holes such that the outer inlets and outlets are selectively connected, pads interposed between an interior circumference of the outer housing and an exterior circumference of the inner housing at locations of the outer inlets and outlets, respectively, and a driving unit connected to a rotation center of the inner housing to selectively rotate the inner housing within the outer housing, wherein the inner housing is configured to rotate by a preset interval according to a selected vehicle mode.

The air conditioner unit further includes a second expansion valve on the first connection line upstream of the chiller, a first valve on the refrigerant line between the first and second heat-exchangers, a third expansion valve on the refrigerant line between the first valve and the second heat-exchanger, a second valve on the refrigerant line between the evaporator and the compressor, and a fourth expansion valve on a second connection line.

A heat pump system of a vehicle includes a first cooling device including a battery module and a first line for circulating a coolant, an air conditioner unit including a compressor, an internal condenser, a main heat exchanger, a first expansion valve, and an evaporator that are interconnected through a refrigerant line for circulating a refrigerant, and a chiller connected to the first cooling device through the first line, connected to the refrigerant line through a first connection line, and configured to adjust a coolant temperature through heat-exchanging a selectively introduced coolant with the refrigerant. The air conditioner unit further includes a second expansion valve, a first valve, a second valve, a second connection line, a third connection line, and a fourth connection line.

An embodiment is a heat pump system for a vehicle, including a first cooling device including a first radiator, a first water pump, and a first valve connected by a first coolant line, a second cooling device including a second radiator and a second water pump connected by a second coolant line, a third cooling device including a third coolant line connected to the second cooling device through a first valve, a third water pump provided on the third coolant line, and a battery module and, a chiller provided on the third coolant line, and a gas injection device configured to selectively expand a refrigerant supplied from an internal condenser included in an air conditioner and supply the expanded refrigerant to a heat exchanger of the air conditioner, and selectively supply a portion of the refrigerant to a compressor.

A heat pump system for the vehicle includes a valve, an electrical component cooling apparatus, a battery cooling apparatus, an internal heating apparatus, an internal cooling device, a centralized energy device, and a chiller for controlling a temperature of a battery module by use of a chiller in which a coolant and a refrigerant are heat-exchanged, and for recovering and using heat from various heat sources in a heating mode of a vehicle for indoor heating to improve heating efficiency.

An embodiment heat pump system for a vehicle includes a cooling apparatus including a radiator and a multi-way valve connected by a first coolant line and configured to circulate a coolant in the first coolant line, a second coolant line including first and second ends connected to the multi-way valve and equipped with a first water pump and an electrical component, a third coolant line including first and second ends connected to the multi-way valve and equipped with a second water pump and a battery module, a chiller provided on the third coolant line, connected to a refrigerant line of an air conditioner device through a refrigerant connection line, and configured to adjust a temperature of the coolant circulated in the third coolant line, and a gas injection device configured to selectively expand a refrigerant and to selectively supply some of the refrigerant to a compressor.

A heat pump system for a vehicle includes a valve, an electrical component cooling device, a battery cooling device, an indoor heating device, an indoor cooling device, a centralized energy device, and a chiller to improve heating efficiency by regulating a temperature of a battery module by use of one chiller in which a cooler and a refrigerant exchange heat, recovers various heat sources in a heating mode of the vehicle and utilizes the recovered heat sources for indoor heating.
