A two-way communication support system supports two-way communication between a second terminal device which receives, from a first terminal device, first state data changed according to the state of a first user present on a side where the first terminal device is arranged and which outputs an image and a voice indicated by the first state data and the first terminal device. The two-way communication support system includes a state identifier and an output controller. The state identifier analyzes second state data changed according to the state of a second user present on a side where the second terminal device is arranged so as to identify the state of the second user. The output controller causes the first terminal device to output analysis information indicating a result of the identification of the state of the second user performed by the state identifier.

A touch panel controller is equipped with a control unit that outputs a decimation signal to a drive line driving circuit when touch response magnitude data is a designated value or greater, or in other words, when the distance between a touch panel and a stylus pen is closer than a designated value. Thus, it is possible to realize a touch panel system able to moderate the amount of power consumed when synchronizing drive timings between the pen and the touch panel controller that drives the touch panel, and thereby operate with low power consumption.

In a touch panel system of the present invention, a touch pen is configured of an electronic pen that signals can be input into and output from. The intermittent lighting timing of an illumination portion is controlled in a manner such that the turn-off period having a predetermined length is set between the point in which the detected telop area (R) writes a video signal to a liquid crystal element and the point in which the liquid crystal element responds.
