A user can easily preview image data obtained by photography in a facility such as a theme park and an entertainment facility and can place an order on the image data during the stay in the facility. A service server stores the image data obtained by photography of the user by a photography system, by relating the image data to the user ID of the user. When the user instructs the service server to display the image data for preview via a communication apparatus, the service server sends the image data to a PDA via the communication apparatus. The user displays the image data on the PDA and can preview and edit the image data, and can place a printing order.

Image management system

In a system for providing a service to members of a group, a more complex form of the group can be flexibly and appropriately dealt with, and the service that is more convenient for the group can be provided. A group management database stores a group property, thereby a quantity of prints printed by a laboratory and information provided by a terminal can be determined based on the group property and the number of the members, for example. Furthermore, the group can be changed. In addition, security of image search can be set for the group by using the terminal. One of the members in charge of payment is registered for the group so that the member can collectively pay for the group.

Service provision system and automatic photography system

A subject user is photographed in a photographing system in a theme park. At this time, photographs are taken a plurality of times at a predetermined time interval. Further, an instruction is given to photograph a specified number of times according to a number of persons included in an image which will be photographed. It is judged whether or not persons included in a plurality of image data obtained by photographing have their eyes open. A single set of image data which is judged to include the persons with open eyes is sent to an image storage server and stored in the image storage server.

Image management system to obtain images of persons with open eyes

An image management system for managing image data obtained by the visitors to a theme park or similar facilities with their own imaging devices in the same manner as the image data obtained by the cameras installed in the facility. The subject user is photographed by the photographing system installed in the theme park to obtain first image data. Photography is automatically performed when a subject assumes expressions or poses that are considered to be desirable. Shapes that represent facial expressions of human subjects are repeatedly extracted from images, which are being imaged by a camera. Degrees of match between the extracted shapes and predetermined shapes are calculated. The subjects are photographed when the calculated degrees of match exceed a predetermined value.

Automatic photography system

An image processing method in which an image of an original is read by an image input device, the read image data is converted to density data used when printing onto a photosensitive material, and an image is obtained on the photosensitive material by digital exposure, wherein, when the image data is converted to the density data used when printing onto the photosensitive material, the image data is corrected on the basis of parameters determined by combinations of print finish characteristics, including at least image input device characteristics, kind of original, kind of photosensitive material, and exposure amount characteristics, which affect a print image when the image of the original is printed onto the photosensitive material by an analogue exposure system. On the basis of the above parameters, the density data is obtained while the image data is corrected. For this reason, an image finish print in the digital exposure system can obtain an image quality which is equal to that of a finish print in an analogue exposure system.

Method and apparatus for converting original image data to density data for forming an image on photosensitive material and for displaying an image on a monitor

Additionally, data for monitor display is generated so that the gradation and color tone of the image displayed on the monitor coincide with the gradation and color tone of the image printed on the photosensitive material.
