A heat storage system using a heat storage container having a tubular body, an adsorbent that is accommodated in the tubular body, generates heat by adsorption of an adsorbate and absorbs heat by desorption of the adsorbate, and a flow channel that penetrates the tubular body in a longitudinal direction, the heat storage system comprising a diffusion layer for transporting the adsorbate in liquid phase from the flow channel to the adsorbent, wherein the adsorbate is transported to the flow channel, the adsorbate is transported to the diffusion layer, a part of the adsorbate transported to the diffusion layer is adsorbed on the adsorbent, the adsorbent releases heat, and the remaining adsorbate is vaporized by the heat to become heat transport fluid.

A heat storage system using a heat storage container includes a tubular body, a chemical heat storage material accommodated in the tubular body, and a flow channel that penetrates the tubular body in a longitudinal direction. The heat storage system includes a diffusion layer for transporting liquid from the flow channel to the chemical heat storage material. The liquid functions as a reaction medium of the chemical heat storage material. The liquid is transported to the flow channel and the diffusion layer. The liquid transported to the diffusion layer reacts with the chemical heat storage material, the chemical heat storage material generates heat, and the liquid is vaporized by the heat to become heat transport fluid.

Heat storage container and heat storage device provided with heat storage container

An optical module including a temperature measurement module and an optical part having a temperature dependency. The module includes a temperature control part mounted directly or indirectly on the optical part and the temperature measurement part for controlling a temperature of the optical part and the measurement part by thermal contact. An adjustment system is also provided for adjusting a difference of the temperature of the optical part and the measurement part by controlling the heat flow into/out of the optical part or the measurement part.

An optical module of the present invention can stabilize e.g. the temperature of a wavelength monitor portion so that the oscillating wavelength of a laser diode is stabilized. The laser diode and the wavelength monitor portion for monitoring the wavelength of the laser diode are included in a package, and are mounted onto a thermo module. The wavelength monitor portion comprise at least an optical filter positioned to receive and filter at least a component of the laser beam and a light receiving device to receive the filtered light through the optical filter and monitor a wavelength of the laser beam. A heat shield member for reducing heat transmission from the package to the wavelength monitor portion is arranged in at least one portion of a peripheral area of the wavelength monitor portion.

Accordingly, the temperature control range of the second thermo-module can be expanded, and hence the wavelength variable range of a semiconductor laser device provided on the second thermo-module via a base and a submount can be expanded.
