A wiring substrate includes a wiring board having a main face and a side face substantially perpendicular to the main face; a circuit pattern which is formed on the main face of the wiring board; a soaking plate which is disposed in an intermediate layer of the wiring board; and a plurality of protruding terminals are disposed in the intermediate layer and are projected outwardly from the side face. The protruding terminals are electrically connected in the intermediate layer to each other.

Method for manufacturing wiring substrate

An electric junction box including a metal core wiring board having a high heat-releasing property is provided. The electric junction box includes a case and a metal core wiring board received inside the case. The metal core wiring board includes a base plate and a plurality of relays. The base plate is constituted of a pair of insulation sheets sandwiching respective body portions of two conductive plates and body portions of a plurality of conductive plates. The each conductive plate has a terminal portion formed continuously from the body portion and arranged to project from edge of the insulation sheet. The conductive plates are made of copper alloy including copper and at least one of iron, nickel, tin and zirconium.

Metal core wiring board and electric junction box having the same

A connecting unit includes a wiring board and a connector. The wiring board has a main face and a side face substantially perpendicular to the main face, and includes a soaking plate and a first terminal. The connector has a through hole for passing the first terminal therethrough. The first terminal is disposed in an intermediate layer of the wiring board and is projected outwardly from the side face. When the connector is connected to the wiring board, the first terminal passes through the through hole.

Connecting unit

A wire-protecting apparatus for automobiles in which at least one power-supplying lead for supplying an electric power to a load has at least one PTC element inserted in series with the power-supplying lead. The PTC element exhibits a high resistance at temperatures higher than a predetermined value when an overcurrent greater than a predetermined value flows through the load, thereby substantially shutting off the electric power to the load.

Wire protecting apparatus for automobiles

To standardize electric junction boxes so that the internal circuits can be applied to various requirements without markedly changing parts, the junction box is divided into plural stackable distributing units each connectable to each subharness via each subharness connector. The junction box comprises a plurality of stackable distributing units including a plurality of parallel arranged wires connectable with at least one external subharness; wire shorting bus bars or wire branch bars arranged so as to cross the parallel arranged wires; and an interlayer connecting unit or plural interlayer connecting terminals arranged so as to cross the surfaces of the plural distributing units for connecting the parallel arranged wires and the wire shorting bus bars arranged on different distributing units. Further, when male connector terminals are provided on each distributing unit, it is possible to form a subharness connector by use of these male connector terminals on each distributing unit.

Electric junction box

A junction block comprises a pair of first and second cover cases each having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface grooves therein; a plurality of electrical conductors each having a first portion, a second portion, and a middle portion therebetween, the first portion being received in a groove of the first cover case and the second portion being received in a groove of the second cover case; contact-terminals inserted into the cover cases through the grooves to protrude through the outer surfaces of the first and second cover cases for electrical connection with external circuits as well as the conductors; the first cover case being piled on the second cover case such that the respective inner surfaces face each other; and insulating partitioning means sandwiched between the first and second cover cases.

Junction block

An external connection structure of an electric connection box includes a male or a female multi-connector housing formed integral with electric connection box and connected to an internal wiring of this electric connection box, and is constituted of a through connector joined to an external wire bundle and provided with a space large enough to hold the connector housing. The other male or female multi-connector housing is joined to the above-mentioned multi-connector housing integrated with the through connector housings connected to the external wire bundle.

External connection structure of electric connection box

To decrease the number of connectors and increase the connection reliability in a controller-including wiring apparatus for an automotive vehicle, the apparatus comprises (a) a junction block having at least one bus bar circuit board on which harness branch circuits are arranged and to which electric devices are connectable; (b) a controller unit having at least one printed circuit board on which control circuits are arranged to control the electric devices; and (c) a plurality of junction terminals collectively arranged at an end of the junction block and having first and second ends and middle portions, some of the middle portions being joined to the branch circuits, the first ends being for coupling to said controller unit and the second ends being for coupling to the wire harness.

Controller-including wiring apparatus for automotive vehicle

A wire harness assembly is disclosed in which a wire harness having a primary wire bundle and a plurality of branch wires branched from the primary wire bundle is received in a wire protective casing composed of a casing body and a casing cover along with the arrangement configuration of the wire harness. A plurality of engagement holes are formed in the protective casing, corresponding to connectors provided at terminal ends of the branch wires. Cushion arms that are engaged with the engagement holes are formed on outer walls of housings of the connectors, so that the connectors are displaceable relative to the engagement holes.
