A ligation apparatus that ligatures living tissue using a clip and provides an optimal ligation apparatus for ligaturing living tissue in a body cavity. The ligation apparatus includes a clip with a clip claw member that is advanced and retreated relative to a pressing member to open and close, a sheath configured to accommodate the clip such that the clip claw member is not exposed to the outside, an advance and retreat restricting mechanism which restricts advance and retreat of the pressing member relative to the sheath at a distal end portion of the sheath and allows advance and retreat of the clip claw member relative to the pressing member according to advance and retreat of the operation wire relative to the sheath to allow the clip ligaturing living tissue, and a releasing mechanism which releases at least a portion of the clip when the clip ligatures the living tissue.

Ligation apparatus

A treatment tool for an endoscope, including: an insertion tube extending toward one direction; a movable tip member which is provided on a tip of the insertion tube and which is used for a treatment of a living organ; a control member of which a tip is connected to the insertion tube and controls the movable tip member by advancing and retracting a control shaft member inserted in the insertion tube; and a covering tube which covers at least one part of a circumference of the insertion tube. At least one part of the insertion tube rotates freely about an axis of the insertion tube.

Treatment tool for endoscope

A ligation apparatus includes a clip having a clip claw member advanced and retreated relative to a pressing member to be opened and closed, a sheath configured to accommodate the clip such that the clip claw member is not exposed to the outside, an advance and retreat restricting mechanism restricting advance and retreat of the pressing member relative to the sheath at a distal end portion of the sheath allowing advance and retreat of the clip claw member relative to the pressing member according to advance and retreat of the operation wire relative to the sheath so as to allow the clip ligaturing living tissue, and a releasing mechanism releasing at least a portion of the clip so that the clip ligatures the living tissue.

A method of performing treatment on a desired part of a cavity includes use of an endoscope having a guide wire, a therapeutic instrument and a therapeutic instrument elevator base capable of guiding the instrument to a desired position. The guide wire is inserted into an insertion channel of the endoscope and located in a desired position in the cavity. The instrument is moved from a position in the cavity to a position closer to the operation portion of the endoscope than to the distal end of the endoscope. While a guide wire fixing means at the distal end of the endoscope fixes the guide wire, the instrument is completely pulled out from the instrument channel of the endoscope.

Method of using a guide wire, therapeutic instrument and endoscope

Guide wire fixing means is provided for an insertion portion of an endoscope, and a guide wire is releasably engaged when inserting/removing a therapeutic instrument running on the guide wire with a distal end portion of the guide wire inserted into a therapeutic instrument insertion channel of the endoscope being led out from a distal end opening portion of the channel.

Endoscope and endoscope system thereof

A soft sheath and a pair of opening and closing elements which protrudes from and retracts into the soft sheath and is capable of opening and closing are provided in an insertion portion capable of being inserted through a treatment device insertion channel of an endoscope, a slender arm and a high-frequency surgical blade disposed at the distal end of the arm are formed in each opening and closing element, and a high-frequency treatment portion which converges a high-frequency current is provided on the blade.

High-frequency treatment device

A hood for an endoscope has a cap part detachably mounted on the end portion of the insertion part of an endoscope. An opening communicates with the inside of the cap part, at the end of a flexible tube connected to the opening. Into the flexible tube, such an endoscopic treating instrument as a high frequency snare is inserted.
