A gravimetric measuring device ('″) includes a balance base body () and a top unit (′″), wherein the balance base body () has a balance base body wall (), to which the top unit (′″) can be reversibly fixed, and a weighing system with a load receptor () passing through the balance base body wall () and the top unit (′″). A plurality of optical, magnetic, tactile, radio, thermal, electrical and/or electronic interfaces () coupled to a balance electronics are arranged on the balance base body wall (), at least one of which interfaces is connected to a corresponding interface of the top unit (′″) to form an optical, magnetic, tactile, radio, thermal, electrical or electronic connection between the top unit (′″) and the balance electronics.

Gravimetric measuring device

A gravimetric measuring system (10) includes a balance (12) with a weighing chamber (22) surrounded by a plurality of weighing chamber walls (23, 24, 26, 28); an electromechanical weighing system (181) enclosed by an adjoining weighing system chamber (18); and an electronic control apparatus (36) for controlling the system operation according to algorithms stored in a memory (363) of the control apparatus. A plurality of functional modules (14, 16) that generate heat during operation are insertable into module receptacles (283) arranged on at least one weighing chamber wall (28). A plurality of interacting measures, such as providing the module receptacles with device-side identification and thermal interface components and the functional modules with module-side identification and thermal interface components that interact, lead to a controllable measuring system that is flexibly equipped and calibratable.

Gravimetric measuring system

A gravimetric measuring system () includes a balance () with a weighing chamber () surrounded by a weighing chamber wall (); an electromechanical weighing system () arranged in a weighing system chamber (); an electronic control apparatus () for controlling the system operation; a cooling apparatus (), controllable by the control apparatus, for cooling the weighing chamber (); and a plurality of functional modules () that generate heat during operation and are insertable into module receptacles () arranged on the weighing chamber wall (). The module receptacles () have device-side thermal interface components () that are thermally connected to the cooling apparatus (), and the functional modules () have corresponding module-side thermal interface components () that, in an inserted state of the respective functional module (), thermally contact the device-side thermal interface component () of the respectively associated module receptacle ().

A gravimetric measuring system () includes a balance () with a weighing chamber (), surrounded by a plurality of weighing chamber walls (); an electromechanical weighing system (); and an electronic control apparatus () controlling the system operation according to routines stored in a memory () thereof; and a plurality of functional modules (), configured to be inserted into module receptacles, arranged on at least one weighing chamber wall (). The at least one weighing chamber wall () is designed as a carrier structure, with recesses () which constitute clearances occupying a majority of the wall surface and which form the module receptacles. Either the functional modules () or diaphragms () without a weighing function close the recesses and are spatially adapted to the recesses.

A positioning foot having a hydraulic shock absorber with a fluid-filled hollow cylinder (), in which a piston () that moves axially between an advanced, spring prestressed position and a retracted position. The piston separates a front axial fluid space () and a rear axial fluid space () from one another in the hollow cylinder. Both fluid spaces are connected to one another in a fluid exchanging fashion via at least one throttle opening () in the piston. The piston is rigidly connected to a piston rod (), which passes through the front fluid space and abuts a fixed stop () in the retracted position, in which the volume of the rear axial fluid space is minimized and the volume of the front axial fluid space is maximized. The spring prestress is dimensioned so that the weight of the device body moves the piston dampingly into the retracted position.

A distributor head for a suction pump which includes a housing (), a pump port () configured to apply a negative pressure, and a plurality of hollow needles (). The hollow needles are fixed to the housing (), are connected in a liquid-tight manner to the pump port (), and are arranged parallel to and at a distance from one another. Individual connecting paths () of the hollow needles () to the pump port () include respective, independently operable control valves ().

A weighing apparatus includes &#x2014;a sample holder (), &#x2014;a protective housing () with an access port () and a closure element (), &#x2014;a reflection sensor () with a radiation emitter () emitting sensor radiation () reflected by a reflecting object () and with a radiation receiver () receiving a sensor radiation component (), reflected by the object and &#x2014;a control unit (), connected to a motorized drive () of the closure element and to the reflection sensor, and which controls the motorized drive with a reflection sensor signal, for transferring the closure element between closed and open positions. A differentiating element subjects a sensor primary signal () of the reflection sensor to a differentiation. The primary signal depends on a reflection intensity of the reflected radiation component and generates a sensor secondary signal (). The control unit controls the motorized drive based on the sign of the secondary signal.
