A cable retention arrangement for an electronic device, such as a surveillance camera, comprises a base member and an attachment member releasably attachable to the base member. The base member is provided with a channel configured to receive a cable and arranged in a surface of the base member configured to face the attachment member in an assembled state of the cable retention arrangement in which the attachment member is attached to the base member. The channel extends between a cable entry and a cable exit and the attachment member is provided with a slit which, in the assembled state of the cable retention arrangement, is configured to extend in a direction traversing the channel such that the cable exit of the channel is defined at the intersection of the channel and the slit. The disclosure further relates to an electronic device comprising such a cable retention arrangement.

A camera device comprises an assembly having a first component and a second component which are connected to each other with a hollow holding member and a threaded fastener. The first component has a first socket with a first socket opening and a threaded bore extending from a bottom surface of the first socket. The second component has a second socket with a second socket opening, wherein the first socket opening and the second socket opening are configured to face each other when the first and second component are connected to each other. The first and second sockets each have threaded bores. A threaded fastener is configured to extend from the second component to the threaded bore of the first socket of the first component for engagement with the threaded bore such that the connection between the first and second components is secured.

An image system () comprising a camera (), a control unit (), a processing unit (), one or more illumination devices (). The image system () is configured to obtain a distance matrix for a scene. Each cell of the distance matrix corresponds to a zone of the scene and a value in each cell represents the distance from an object in the zone to the camera. The image system is further configured to obtain an illumination intensity matrix for the scene. Each cell of the illumination intensity matrix corresponds to a zone of the scene and a value in each cell represents illumination intensity of one or more illumination devices in each zone of the scene. The image system is further configured to generate a compensation matrix based on the illumination intensity matrix and the distance matrix and generate an image of the scene based on the compensation matrix.

A camera device includes an optics unit and a sensor unit releasably connectable to each other, and an electronic accessory releasably connectable to the optics unit by means of a threaded fitting associated with a rotation axis, wherein the optics unit comprises optics unit connectors, which in an assembled state of the camera device each is aligned and in contact with an associated electronic accessory connector of the electronic accessory thereby forming an electric connection between the electronic accessory and the sensor unit via the optics unit, wherein the optics unit connectors and the associated electronic accessory connectors form a first group consisting of at least one optics unit connector and associated electronic accessory connector arranged for power transfer and a second group consisting of at least one optics unit connector and associated electronic accessory connector arranged for signal transfer.

An electrical coupling transfers electrical signals between a camera head and a cable and comprises a first part associated with the camera head and a second part associated with the cable and connectable to the first part. The coupling establishes contact between connectors of the first and second parts. The first part comprises a first connection position for reception of the second part, and a second connection position for reception of the second part. The connectors of the first and second parts comprise dot shaped connectors and elongated connectors. One of the first and second parts comprise the dot shaped connectors, and the other one comprises the elongated connectors. Each dot shaped connector is associated with one of the elongated connectors, and the connectors are arranged such that each dot shaped connector connects with an associated elongated connector in both the first connection position and the second connection position.

A lens arrangement of a camera device includes a lens holder and a lens member, the lens member being slidingly received by the cavity by axial insertion of the lens member into the cavity such that the longitudinal lens holder axis coincides with the longitudinal lens member axis, wherein a locking force is applied by the locking member in a direction from the first lens holder surface section, the locking force being perpendicular to the plane, wherein the lens holder protrusion and the lens member protrusion are such aligned that the locking force applied by the locking member in the direction from the first lens holder surface section is applied to the first lens member surface section. The second lens member surface section engage the second lens holder surface section in response to the locking force applied to the first lens member surface section.

A camera assembly includes a housing and a transparent dome, and it is configured to receive at least one camera head arranged in the housing, inside the transparent dome. The housing comprises a cooling arrangement having a heat dissipation portion arranged within the housing and extending through the dome, and the heat dissipation portion is made from a material configured to transfer heat efficiently. Furthermore, the cooling arrangement comprises a channel for airflow.

A camera assembly with a camera dome, a camera housing, has a plurality of camera heads arranged inside the housing and the dome. Each camera head is arranged in a camera support which is movable around a center of the camera assembly and each camera support has a first, inner, follower portion configured to engage a first, inner, guide portion of the camera housing. Furthermore, each camera support has a second, outer, follower portion configured to engage a second, outer, guide portion of the camera housing. The camera support also comprises a camera head fixture connecting the first follower portion with the second follower portion. Each follower portion is arranged to slide in the corresponding guide portion.
