Dynamic configuration and reconfiguration of Voice Control Assistants (VCAs) for Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) devices is provided via a Graphical User Interface (GUI). GUI is presented to provide a list of one or more voice control assistants (VCAs) supported by a CPE device. A selection of a VCA is received from the list of the one or more VCAs presented by the GUI. A configuration interface for the VCA selected from the list of the one or more VCAs from the list of the one or more VCAs is presented on the GUI. Configuration input on the configuration interface of the GUI is received to generate configuration data for the VCA selected from the list of the one or more VCAs. The configuration data is provided to the CPE for implementing the VCA selected from the list of the one or more VCAs according to the configuration data.

Voice control configuration using a graphical user interface

An apparatus, system, method, and computer-readable recording medium for automatic routing of an audio output using a smart media device (SMD), which includes receiving a request for audio content or audio and visual content, obtaining the audio content or the audio and visual content requested, and determining a power state of an audio/video (AV) output device. If the power state is determined to be ON, the audio content or the audio and visual content is automatically routed to the AV output device, and if the power state is determined to be OFF, the audio content is automatically routed to the SMD for output. If the power state is determined to be OFF and the request is for audio and visual content, the power state of the AV output device is controlled ON, and the audio and visual content is routed to the AV output device.

Apparatus, system, method, and computer-readable recording medium for automatic routing of an audio output

Technologies are disclosed for servicing a video conference by a media control device. The media control device may receive a first signal including a first audio component from a first device and a second signal including a second audio component from a second device. The media device may identify at least a first timestamp of the first signal and at least a first timestamp of the second signal. The media device may assign a common timestamp to the first signal and the second signal and modify the first signal and/or the second signal based, at least in part, on the common timestamp. The media device may send the modified first signal and/or the modified second signal to at least one recipient device.

Providing synchronization for video conference audio and video

Technologies are disclosed for servicing a video conference by a media control device. The media control device may receive a first signal from a camera device. The first signal may include at least a video component and a first audio component. The media control device may receive a second signal from a microphone device. The second signal may include at least a second audio component. The first audio component and the second audio component may represent the audio communication of the video conference. The media control device may identify a first timestamp of the first signal and a first timestamp of the second signal. The first signal may be modified based, at least in part, on the second signal and an adjusted first timestamp of the first signal. The modified first signal may be sent to a recipient device serving the video conference.
