Collision avoidance in Multi Link Device (MLD) Make Before Break Roaming (MBBR) may be provided. It may be determined that a client device may comprise an MBBR client device. Next, a Request To Send (RTS) may be sent to the client device. In response to sending the RTS to the client device, a Clear To Send (CTS) may be received from the client device. In response to receiving the CTS, data may be sent to the client device.

Collision avoidance in multi link device (MLD) make before break roaming (MBBR)

Techniques for improved peer-to-peer communication are provided. A roaming peer-to-peer device may identify a new access point (AP) and initiate a transition to the new AP. Initiating transition can involve sending, to the new AP, the current peer-to-peer communication schedule for approval and/or negotiating a modified peer-to-peer communication schedule with the new AP. When the roaming peer-to-peer device and the new AP agree on the peer-to-peer communication schedule, the peer-to-peer device may notify its counterpart that it has roamed to the new AP and also notify the counterpart of any updates to the peer-to-peer communication schedule.

P2P continuity during a client roam

Time synchronization distribution in a network may be provided. Time synchronization may be performed by an Access Point (AP) with a plurality of client devices. Next, based on information received from performing the time synchronization with the plurality of client devices, it may be determined that a first client device of the plurality of client devices is a representative client device. Then, for a predetermined time period, time synchronization with the first client device and not with others of the plurality of client devices may be performed. The data associated with the time synchronization with the first client device may be broadcast to others of the plurality of client devices.

Time synchronization distribution in a network

The present disclosure is directed to simultaneous channel sounding on multiple MLO channels followed by determining phase and amplitude corrections based on channel impulse responses obtained on each MLO channel. The corrections are then used in subsequent extrapolation of channel sounding on one channel to another. In one aspect, a method includes transmitting, on each radio interface of a first multi-link device, a corresponding sounding probe to a second multi-link device; determining, by each radio interface of the first multi-link device, a corresponding channel impulse response based on the corresponding sound probe to yield a plurality of channel impulse responses; determining an offset between the plurality of channel impulse responses; and using the offset during a subsequent extrapolation of a sounding probe on one radio interface to a second radio interface of the first multi-link device.

Phase lock loop phase ambiguity mitigation for multi-link operation extrapolated sounding

The present technology allows coordination of channels of private wireless networks utilizing shared licensed and unlicensed spectrum. Wireless network operators in an enterprise location register to participate in a consortium and register licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources to be shared with other members of the consortium. The wireless network operators request an allocation of spectrum resources from the consortium. The consortium generates a radio resource management ('RRM') plan for shared use of the licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources. The consortium combines the allocated licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum from each of the wireless network operators to meet the target RRM plan. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization to dynamically update the RRM. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization in real time to determine how closely the RRM plan matches the resources allocated to each wireless network operator.

Channel coordination of private wireless networks utilizing shared spectrum

This technology allows time synchronization in wireless networks with mobile stations. A wireless network controller transmits instructions to access points ('APs') within the wireless network to monitor transmissions for time synchronization. One or more second APs observe fine time measurement (“FTM”) exchanges between a first AP and a mobile station. A particular second AP determines whether to perform a time synchronization with the first AP based on the detection of the FTM exchange or a determination that the station is moving toward the second AP. For time synchronization, the second AP determines the time that the first AP transmitted the FTM exchange and the time of transmission from the first AP to the second AP. The second AP synchronizes a second AP clock to the summation of the time of the transmission of the FTM exchange and the time of transmission from the first AP to the second AP.

Mobile time-sync distribution

Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) Quality of Service (QoS) in overlapped administrative domains may be provided. A first Access Point (AP) may detect at least a second AP in a Co-Channel Interference (CCI) range. A micro-transaction auction between the first AP and at least the second AP may be established, and the first AP may provide compensation to second AP to acquire an agreement, from the second AP, to forgo transmitting during an upcoming service period. Next, the first AP may schedule transmissions for the service period and then transmit in the service period without interference from the second AP.

Time sensitive networking (TSN) quality of service (QoS) in overlapped administrative domains

The disclosed technology relates to a process of evaluating any number of different identity providers (IDPs) and their respective set of credentials that are used to authenticate corresponding users to assist with the onboarding of the different IDPs in connection with Wi-Fi identity federations. In particular, the process allows a person's electronic identity and attributes (stored across one or more IDPs) to be determined once using a standard. Once trust has been established for the user, that trust can then be utilized across a number of different systems (e.g., Single-sign on). The same trust determination can be used without the need for the authenticity of the user identity to be re-evaluated with each new access request.

Wireless LAN (WLAN) public identity federation trust architecture

Wireless dynamic file exchange is provided by, in response to a triggering network condition occurring, initiating an exchange of a parameter file including non-layer two content via a 802.11 message, such as a Generic Advertisement Service (GAS) message between an access point (AP) and a station (STA) connected to the AP; and in response to determining that the exchange was unsuccessful, terminating a connection between the AP and the STA. The parameter file may be sent over several messages and update the parameters for a new session or an existing session. Devices that do not conform to the updated parameters may be disassociated from the AP and re-connect to receive and implement the updated parameters.

Wireless dynamic file exchange

A method includes determining whether a first access point of a plurality of access points and a second access point of the plurality of access points should communicate simultaneously over a shared channel in a first network and in response to determining that one of the plurality of access points won contention of a transmission opportunity for the shared channel, dividing the transmission opportunity into a plurality of time slots. The method also includes scheduling transmissions of the first and second access points into the plurality of time slots according to the determination whether the first and second access points should communicate simultaneously over the shared channel and communicating, to the second access point and over a wired network or a second network different from the first network, an indication of whether the second access point should communicate during a first time slot of the plurality of time slots.

Over-the-wire access point coordination

A device includes a memory and a hardware processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The hardware processor determines that a computing device communicatively coupled to an access point performed an action with respect to the access point and in response to determining that the action causes a deviation from a multi-user uplink policy of the access point, transmits a disciplinary message to the computing device.

Network compliance and admission control

Preserving transmission properties of real-time scenes in an environment when an increasing number of users join a session may be provided. A plurality of metrics associated with transmission of scenes having a Coarse Grain (CG) layer and a Fine Grain (FG) layer may be determined. Then a current client, based on a first one of a plurality of metrics, may be revoked. One of the following may then be performed: blocking a new client based on a second one of a plurality of metrics; and allowing the new client based on the second one of a plurality of metrics.

Preserving transmission properties of real-time scenes in an environment when an increasing number of users join a session

Techniques for dynamically negotiating a service legal agreement (SLA) between a roaming device and a visited network (VN) in an identity federation. An identity profile provided to a user device by an identity provider (IDP) is accessed by the user device. The identity profile includes a first SLA criteria. An advertisement from the VN indicating one or more SLAs supported by the VN is received at the user device. The advertisement is received before the user device has associated with the VN. The IDP and the VN are part of a same identity federation. It is determined that the SLA supported by the VN satisfies the first SLA criteria. Upon that determination, an acceptance is transmitted by the user device to the VN, and the user device is associated with the VN.

Implementing service level agreements in an identity federation

A method comprising: at a multi-link device (MLD) configured for multi-link operation: establishing a first Internet Protocol (IP) stack of a first IP type and configured with a first IP address of the first IP type, wherein the first IP stack is associated to a first MLD media access control (MAC) address of a first station of the MLD; establishing a second IP stack of a second IP type and configured with a second IP address of the second IP type, wherein the second IP stack exists concurrently with the first IP stack and is associated to a second MLD MAC address of a second station of the MLD; and exchanging, with a peer MLD, IP traffic using one or more of (i) the first IP stack and the first MLD MAC address, and (ii) the second IP stack and the second MLD MAC address.
