A pipe joint includes a soft pipe, a hard pipe and a sleeve. The hard pipe includes an insert portion inserted into an inside of the soft pipe from an end portion of the soft pipe. The sleeve is arranged radially outside of the insert portion and the soft pipe, and presses the soft pipe toward the insert portion. The insert portion includes a corrugated surface, which is arranged on an outer surface of the insert portion, and a column surface, which is arranged on the outer surface at a tip side of the insert portion. The sleeve includes a first small diameter portion, which is arranged radially outside of the corrugated surface and presses the soft pipe toward the corrugated surface, and a second small diameter portion arranged radially outside of the column surface and presses the soft pipe toward the column surface.

Pipe joint

A refrigerant piping unit includes a pipe and a joint coupled to the pipe. The pipe includes a main section, an end section and a bent section between the main section and the end section. The end section includes a flange portion adjacent to the bent section and a thick end portion opposite to the bent portion with respect to the flange portion in an axial direction. The flange portion is expanded in a radially outward direction and is engaged with the joint. The thick end portion is expanded in the radially outward direction and has a thickness greater than a thickness of the main section. The thick end portion has a groove on its outer surface. The end section has a flat inner surface extending continuously from an inner surface of the bent section throughout inside of the flange portion and the thick end portion.

Refrigerant piping unit and method of manufacturing pipe for the same

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes, a header tank coupled to the plurality of tubes, and a connector coupled to the header tank. The connector includes a female joint part that is to be coupled to a male joint part of an external pipe and a tubular part that extends from the female joint part and has a closed end on a side opposite to the female joint part. The connector is coupled to the header tank such that a side wall of the tubular part is located on an outer periphery of the header tank.

Heat exchanger with connector

A pipe joint unit includes a first pipe member with a male joint, a second pipe member with a female joint, and a pipe joint member coupling the first pipe member and the second pipe member. The male joint is received in the female joint such that an outer peripheral surface of the male joint is opposed to an inner peripheral surface of the female joint. The pipe joint member includes an engagement part that is elastically displaceable in the radial direction, and engages with the first and second pipe members. The male joint and the female joint have rotation restricting parts on the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface, respectively, for restricting relative rotation of the first and second pipe members.

Pipe joint unit and method of manufacturing the same

A pipe joint for coupling a first pipe member and a second pipe member has a pipe mounting portion, an elastic displacing portion and an engagement portion. The pipe mounting portion is configured to be attached to one of the first and second pipe members. The elastic displacing portion connects the pipe mounting portion and the engagement portion and allows the engagement portion to displace in a radial direction. The engagement portion has a first contact portion for contacting a first engaged part of the first pipe member and a second contact portion for contacting a second engaged part of the second pipe member.

Pipe joint and pipe joint structure having the same and method of using the same

A refrigerant pipe connected to a suction side of a compressor and a refrigerant pipe connected to a discharge side of the compressor are integrated into one body. A refrigerant pipe connected to an inlet side of a condenser and a refrigerant pipe connected to an outlet side of the condenser are integrated into one body. A refrigerant pipe connected to an inlet side of a decompressor and a refrigerant pipe connected to an outlet side of the temperature detecting portion are integrated into one body. In these piping structures, a double pipe structure and a double pipe joint structure are adopted in which an inner pipe for circulating high pressure fluid and an outer pipe for circulating low pressure fluid are formed separate from each other and the respective end portions of the pipes are joined to a joint member by plastically deforming the pipes.

A piping joint device for connecting a first piping member having a male joint and a second piping member having a female joint includes: a piping joint member provided with a plurality of diametrically deformable engagement portions; and a plurality of window portions provided in an extension cylinder portion of the second piping member to be engaged with the engagement portions. The male joint of the first piping member is inserted into the female joint of the second piping member in one touch by using deformation of the engagement portions, and a detent portion is provided at an engagement position where the engagement portions engage with the first piping member to prevent a rotation.

Piping joint device

An object of the present invention is to provide a pipe joint device, according to which two pipe members can be easily connected and disassembled without causing the abrupt discharge of the fluid from the pipe members. A ring shaped first retaining member is mounted on a second pipe member and comprises; a ring portion; multiple leg portions axially extending from the ring portion and circumferentially arranged at equal intervals; and multiple first retaining portions formed at each free end of the leg portions and projecting radially and inwardly, so that the first retaining portions are inserted into apertures of the second pipe member. The above first retaining portions return to the initial shape after a first pipe member has been completely inserted into the second pipe member, so that the first pipe member is axially retained by the first retaining portions at an outwardly expanded portion of the first pipe member.

Pipe joint device

A piping joint structure includes a first piping member, a second piping member having at least a window portion, and a joint member provided with a body unit and multiple engagement units, which protrude to the central axis side of the body unit and are capable of being diameter-enlarged and diameter-shortened. The body unit of the joint member has a semi-crack shape. The joint member hoops the second piping member from a periphery side of the second piping member, while the engagement units are inserted through the window portion. The first piping member is connected to the second piping member by a one-touch operation of diameter-enlarging and diameter-shortening of the engagement units.

Piping joint structure

In a connecting structure of a pipe of an air conditioning unit and a pipe joint for supporting the pipe, an insertion hole through which the pipe is inserted is formed within the pipe joint. The insertion hole has substantially a L-shaped cross-section and includes a first portion for receiving an end portion of the pipe and a second portion for receiving a flat portion of the pipe. The second portion is elliptical-shaped. In connecting the pipe to the pipe joint, the pipe is pressed into the insertion hole by a pressing punch. As a result, the pipe is bent and shaped along the elliptical shape of the second portion in the pipe joint, thereby forming the flat portion in the bend of the pipe. At the same time that the flat portion is formed, the pipe is clamped in the pipe joint.

Connecting structure of pipe and pipe joint and method of connecting the pipe to the pipe joint

A method that produces an inexpensive and high-quality male side pipe by forming a seal groove for holding an O-ring only by means of press machining is disclosed. A male side pipe is pressed to form an expanded part at an intermediate part thereof. This expanded part is pressed to form a bulge part. Furthermore, the portion of the male side pipe from a tip end to an intermediate part of the bulge part is contracted to form a seal groove side face and a seal groove bottom face at the side of the bulge part. In addition, the portion, of the male side pipe from the tip end to the point S is pressed for thinning to facilitate the machining on male side pipe. Then, the thinned portion is widened to form a seal groove side face at the side of the tip end. By forming the seal groove side face roughly perpendicular to the axial direction of the male side pipe during these processes, the askew assembly or slanting of the O-ring can be prevented.
