Metal magnetic particle, inductor, method for manufacturing metal magnetic particle, and method for manufacturing metal magnetic core

A metal magnetic particle provided with an oxide layer on a surface of an alloy particle containing Fe and Si. The oxide layer has a first oxide layer, a second oxide layer, and a third oxide layer from a side of the alloy particle. All of the first oxide layer, the second oxide layer, and the third oxide layer contain Si. Also, in line analysis of element content by using a scanning transmission electron microscope-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, the first oxide layer is a layer having Fe content smaller than Si content in the alloy particle, the second oxide layer is a layer having Fe content larger than the Si content in the alloy particle, and the third oxide layer is a layer having Fe content smaller than the Si content in the alloy particle.

A multilayer coil component includes an insulator portion, a coil embedded in the insulator portion and including a plurality of coil conductor layers electrically connected together, and an outer electrode disposed on a surface of the insulator portion and electrically connected to the coil. The coil conductor layers have a thickness of 30 μm to 60 μm. The coil conductor layers are rectangular and include a corner portion with a radius of curvature of 0.08 mm to 0.24 mm.

Metal magnetic material and electronic component

A laminated electronic component having a coil formed in the laminated body of pluralities of laminated magnetic material layers and conductor patterns by electrically connecting the conductor patterns adjacent to each other via the magnetic material layers. The magnetic material layers contain a metal magnetic material. The coil has a first end portion close to a bottom surface of the laminated body and a second end portion distant from the bottom surface of the laminated body. The first end portion is electrically connected to a first external terminal disposed on the bottom surface of the laminated body. The second end portion is electrically connected to a second external terminal disposed on the bottom surface of the laminated body via an electrode disposed on a side surface of the laminated body. The electrode is covered with an insulator film.

Laminated electronic component

A coil component in which occurrence of plating elongation is further suppressed and an inductance value is higher. A coil component includes an element body including metal magnetic particles, a coil conductor inside the element body, and a plurality of external electrodes on a surface of the element body. The element body has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape including upper and lower surfaces substantially orthogonal to a winding axis of the coil conductor, first and second side surfaces facing each other, and third and fourth side surfaces facing each other. An average particle diameter of each of metal magnetic particles constituting the upper surface, metal magnetic particles constituting the lower surface, metal magnetic particles constituting the first side surface, and metal magnetic particles constituting the second side surface is smaller than an average particle diameter of metal magnetic particles existing inside a winding portion of the coil conductor.

Coil component

A layered electronic component includes a multilayer body having a metallic magnetic material layer including metallic magnetic material particles and a coil being built in the multilayer body. The coil is formed of multiple conductor patterns spirally connected each other and stacked along an axis direction of the coil, and the multilayer body includes a nonmagnetic ferrite part arranged at least an inner area of the coil when viewed from a winding axis direction of the coil.

Layered electronic component

A laminated electronic component having a coil formed in a laminated body of pluralities of laminated magnetic material layers and conductor patterns by electrically connecting the conductor patterns adjacent to each other via the magnetic material layers. The magnetic material layers contain a metal magnetic material. The coil has a first end portion close to a bottom surface of the laminated body and a second end portion distant from the bottom surface of the laminated body. The first end portion is electrically connected to a first external terminal disposed on the bottom surface of the laminated body. The second end portion is electrically connected to a second external terminal disposed on the bottom surface of the laminated body via a conductor extending in a lamination direction of the laminated body. An insulator part is disposed between the conductor and the coil.

A method of manufacturing a laminated electronic component having a circuit element formed in an element body. The method includes forming a collective laminated body including a plurality of element bodies having circuit elements formed therein by laminating pluralities of insulator layers and conductor patterns; forming a plurality of external terminals on one of surfaces of the collective laminated body orthogonal to a lamination direction; forming a disappearing layer covering the external terminals and caused to disappear by heat treatment; cutting and dividing the collective laminated body having the disappearing layer formed thereon along the lamination direction into each of element bodies; applying an insulator precursor to a surface of the element body; and forming a laminated electronic component by applying a heat treatment to the element body to which the insulator precursor is applied. In the method, the insulator layers can be replaced by magnetic material layers.

Method of manufacturing laminated electronic component

Provided are: a metal magnetic material capable of reliably establishing insulation while realizing high saturation magnetic flux density; and an electronic component using the metal magnetic material and having low loss and good DC superimposition characteristics. The metal magnetic material for forming a component body of the electronic component comprises a metal magnetic alloy powder consisting of iron and silicon or containing iron, silicon and chromium; and an additional element added to the metal magnetic alloy powder, wherein the additional element is more easily oxidizable in the equilibrium state of oxidation-reduction reaction than the elements contained in the metal magnetic alloy powder. The component body () is internally formed with a coil pattern consisting of a plurality of coil conductor patterns (A toC). The metal magnetic material is less likely to undergo degradation in magnetic properties even after it is subjected to a heat treatment at a high temperature, so that it becomes possible to perform a heat treatment for reducing a resistance of the coil pattern, at an adequate temperature.

A laminated electronic component is configured such that insulator layers and conductor patterns are laminated and a coil is formed in a laminate of the insulator layers and the conductor patterns by connecting the conductor patterns among the insulator layers, where the coil includes conductor pattern pairs each composed of two conductor patterns arranged so as to sandwich each insulator layer, and includes a first connecting portion connecting both end portions of the two conductor patterns so as to connect the two connecting patterns in parallel and a second connecting portion connecting a plurality of the conductor pattern pairs in series, where the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are arranged so as to be displaced from each other in a direction of a line length of a coil pattern.
