A control unit for an air conditioning system for a motor vehicle calculates a target blowing air temperature based on a temperature of a passenger's clothing detected by a no contact temperature sensor. An air conditioning operation is performed based on the calculated target blowing air temperature. In particular, when calculating the target temperature in the summer or in the winter season, a change of the detected temperature of the passenger's clothing is used, so that the change of detected temperature is reflected in the target temperature with a time delay.

Air conditioning system for motor vehicle

When it is assumed that a vehicle is stopped or parked after its engine was stopped and a predetermined period of time has passed, a cold wind side air mixing door, hot wind side air mixing door, cold wind door and rear cold wind side air mixing door are totally closed and a blower is operated for a predetermined period of time. Accordingly, while a cooler is being dried, drying air containing much offensive smell components, which has passed through the cooler, is discharged outside the vehicle. Therefore, it is unnecessary to provide an exclusively used air passage and an opening and closing door for opening and closing the air passage used for composing an air blowing passage to dry the cooler. By utilizing the existing equipment, air used for drying, which has passed through the cooler, containing much offensive smell components can be discharged outside the vehicle.

Air conditioner for vehicle use

A vehicle air conditioner has an air conditioning unit and an air conditioning control unit. The air conditioning unit has a FACE blowout port, a DEF blowout port, an upper blowout port. The air conditioning control unit estimates an outside windshield temperature and determines an outside dew point temperature. The control unit also controls the upper blowout port to stop blowing or not based on the estimated outside windshield temperature and the outside dew point temperature in a face mode to prevent the windshield from fogging.

Vehicle air conditioner

A control device is provided in a vehicle to control an air conditioning apparatus and thereby to control ventilation and air conditioning of a passenger room of the vehicle. A mobile device communicates with the control device in a parked state of the vehicle to selectively control a first device, which performs ventilation of the passenger room, and a second device, which performs air conditioning of the passenger room, of the air conditioning apparatus in such a manner that at least one of the first device and the second device is selectively operated upon reception of a corresponding operational instruction from the operating device.

Remotely operable air conditioning system for vehicle

A ventilation and deodorization system includes a door lock switching unit for performing a locking and an unlocking of a vehicle door, an air conditioner which introduces outside air of a passenger compartment of the vehicle and blows the introduced outside air into the passenger compartment in a ventilation operation, and a control device for controlling its operation. When a door unlocking request signal is received as a remote operation signal by a receiving unit, the door lock switching unit performs the unlocking of the vehicle door, and the air conditioner performs the ventilation operation. Alternatively, an air cleaning operation is performed instead of the ventilation operation, while inside air of the passenger compartment is cleaned and circulated by an air cleaning device. Thus, the ventilation operation or the air cleaning operation can be performed while a battery consumption amount can be reduced.

Vehicle ventilation and deodorization system

A ceiling air passage system for a vehicle air conditioner has an air passage into which conditioned air from an air conditioning unit is introduced, a three-dimension structure member having a three-dimension passage shape. The air passage is provided along a vehicle ceiling portion, and the three-dimension structure member is disposed substantially in an entire area of the air passage. Further, a passage member for defining a lower part of the air passage is provided with innumerable air outlets from which conditioned air in the air passage is blown downward in the passenger compartment. Accordingly, the conditioned air can be relatively uniformly blown in a wide area of the vehicle ceiling portion.

Ceiling air passage system for vehicle air conditioner

A vehicle air-conditioning system of a dual air conditioner type includes a front seat air-conditioning unit for air-conditioning a front seat side and a rear seat air-conditioning unit for air-conditioning a rear seat side. The system includes parallel connected evaporators for the front seat air-conditioning unit and the rear seat air-conditioning unit. At a low flow rate of refrigerant, the system prevents a significant increase in the temperature of air blown into the rear seat area relative to the temperature in the front seat area. The system employs a variable capacity compressor that enables its discharge capacity to be controlled by an external control signal, allowing the discharge capacity of the compressor to be controlled in accordance with the higher evaporator temperature of the temperatures at the front seat evaporator and the rear seat evaporator and a target evaporator temperature.

Vehicle air-conditioning system

When a compressor apparatus is operated at a maximum displacement for 60 minutes or longer, an ECU controls a pressure control valve to gradually change the refrigerant pressure in a swash plate chamber in a manner that gradually reduces the displacement of the compressor apparatus. In this way, it is possible to create a state, in which a relatively large pressure difference is created between a refrigerant inlet side and the swash plate chamber. Thus, refrigerant oil accumulated in the swash plate chamber can be returned to the refrigerant inlet side of the compressor apparatus at the time of gradually reducing the displacement of the compressor apparatus.

Compressor system and vehicle air conditioning system having the same

In a vehicle air conditioner, a control unit includes determining means for determining a first start of a compressor for compressing refrigerant in a refrigerant cycle after being mounted on the vehicle, and control means for controlling operation of the compressor so that the compressor is operated for a predetermined time by a rotation speed equal to or lower than a predetermined rotation speed when the determining means determines the first start of the compressor. Accordingly, breaking-in operation of the compressor can be accurately performed for the predetermined time by an automatic control.

In a vehicle air conditioner where a foot mode and a foot/defroster mode can be set, when a target temperature of air blown into a passenger compartment is higher than a predetermined temperature, the foot mode is selected. However, even if the target temperature of air is higher than the predetermined temperature, the foot/defroster mode is selected in place of the foot mode when an outside air temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature and when a vehicle speed is higher than a predetermined speed. In the vehicle air conditioner, because the foot/defroster mode can be suitably automatically selected based on a fog-generation condition of a windshield, both fog-preventing performance of the windshield and heating performance of the passenger compartment are improved during heating operation.

To enable performance of comfortable rear seat air temperature control when an air temperature control system is changed from a state where solely a front seat air temperature control unit is operating to a state where a rear seat air temperature control unit also is operating, when deviation between temperature Tr(Fr) detected by a front seat inner air temperature sensor and a temperature Tr(Rr) detected by a rear seat inner air temperature sensor is a predetermined temperature A or more, a temperature Tr'(Rr) used in calculating a rear seat target blowing temperature is taken to be Tr(Fr)--B'. Additionally, when the above-mentioned deviation is A or less, Tr'(Rr) is taken to be equal to Tr(Rr). Due to this, Tr'(Rr) gradually rises and moreover, this Tr'(Rr) is a temperature more closely approaching a rear seat mean temperature, and so by controlling a rear seat air temperature control unit based on the rear seat target blowing temperature calculated based on this Tr'(Rr), problems such as variations in air quantity and hunting of a vent mode can be prevented, and comfortable rear seat air temperature control can be performed.
