An odorant addition device for adding odorant to fuel gas in a gas system that consumes the fuel gas, the device including: an addition unit for adding the odorant to fuel gas to be consumed by the gas system; an environmental condition detection unit for detecting in the gas system an environmental condition regarding diffusion of odorant in fuel gas; and an addition adjustment unit for adjusting mode of odorant addition by the addition unit based on the environmental condition detected by the environmental condition detection unit. In this way, it is possible to detect leakage of fuel gas more reliably and improve safety dramatically, in a gas system that consumes the fuel gas as fuel.

Odorant addition device and fuel gas supply system

The separator of which the region facing the MEA is a flat includes the first electrode facing plate and the second electrode facing plate. The separator includes the reaction gas supply manifold to which the reaction gas is supplied. The first electrode facing plate includes a plurality of reaction gas supply holes formed at the end of the cell-reaction region. The intermediate plate includes a plurality of reaction gas supply path slits that forms the reaction gas supply paths, wherein each of the reaction gas supply paths has one end connected to the reaction gas supply manifold and other end connected to at least one of the plurality of reaction gas supply holes.

The present invention provides a cylinder head-integrated cylinder block in which assembly is easy and a thickness of an aluminum member is not increased even if an integral cylinder head is molded by using the aluminum member and which is lightweight and has strength at a high temperature and a process for manufacturing the cylinder head-integrated cylinder block. A cylindrical cup-shaped member with a bottom is molded of reinforced aluminum material having heat resistance and wear resistance, a cylinder head portion and a cylinder block portion are molded as an integral body by molding the molded cup-shaped member in casting aluminum material by enveloped casting, and the cylinder block portion in which the cup-shaped member is molded by enveloped casting is pressurized under a condition of a temperature at which a material characteristic of the reinforced aluminum material constituting the cup-shaped member does not change, thereby providing a cylinder head-integrated cylinder block in which the cylinder head portion having an intake port and an exhaust port and the cylinder block portion whose end face opening is closed by the cylinder head portion are integrated.

Cylinder head-integrated cylinder block and process for manufacturing the same

A diesel engine comprising a plurality of cylinders each having a precombustion chamber and a fuel injector. A first camshaft for driving intake valves and a second camshaft for driving exhaust valves are arranged on the cylinder head and extended in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the engine body. Each precombustion chamber and each fuel injector is arranged centrally between the first camshaft and the second camshaft.

A split engine comprising a plurality of cylinders divided into a first cylinder group and a second cylinder group. The second cylinder group is connected to the outside air via a second surge tank. The first cylinder group is connected to the second surge tank via a first surge tank. A shut-off valve is arranged in the connecting portion of the first surge tank and the second surge tank. When the level of the load of the engine becomes higher than a predetermined level, the shut-off valve is slowly opened by a DC motor.

Split engine

A split engine comprising a plurality of cylinders divided into a first cylinder group and a second cylinder group. The second cylinder group is connected to the outside air via a second surge tank. A throttle valve is arranged in the inlet of the second surge tank. The first cylinder group is connected to the second surge tank. A shut-off valve is arranged in the connecting portion of the first surge tank and the second surge tank. The first surge tank is connected to the exhaust manifold of the engine via an exhaust-gas recirculation passage. The recirculation control valve is arranged in the exhaust-gas recirculation passage. When the level of the load of the engine becomes higher than a predetermined level, the shut-off valve opens, and the recirculation control valve closes. At this time, if the opening speed of the throttle valve is lower than a predetermined speed, the opening operation of the shut-off valve is started when the closing operation of the recirculation control valve is completed. However, if the opening speed of the throttle valve is higher than the predetermined speed, the opening operation of the shut-off valve is started when the closing operation of the recirculation control valve is started.

A split engine comprising a plurality of cylinders which are divided into a first cylinder group and a second cylinder group. The second cylinder group is connected to the outside air via a second intake passage. The first cylinder group is connected to a first intake passage which is, in turn, connected to the second intake passage via a shut-off valve. The first intake passage is connected to the exhaust passage of the engine via an exhaust-gas recirculation passage. When the level of the load of the engine becomes high, the exhaust-gas recirculation passage is shut off, and the shut-off valve is initially opened at a high speed and then opened at a low speed.

A valve stopping device of internal combustion engine comprising, an intake valve and an exhaust valve each provided with a valve stopping mechanism. The valve stopping mechanisms are connected with each other by a link mechanism so as to rotate synchronously. The turning angle of the valve stopping mechanism attached to the intake valve is larger than that of the exhaust valve. The intake valve operation therefore precedes the exhaust valve operation when the valves shut down and enter a closed state. The exhaust valve operation precedes the intake valve operation when the valves begin operation. Thus, burnt gas in cylinders is prevented from being blown back to the intake side during a valve shutdown control process.

Valve stopping device of internal combustion engine

A split engine comprising a plurality of cylinders divided into a first cylinder group and a second cylinder group. The second cylinder group is connected to the outside air via a second surge tank. The first cylinder group is connected to the second surge tank via a first surge tank. A shut-off valve is arranged in the connecting portion of the first surge tank and the second surge tank. The supply of fuel into both of the cylinder groups is stopped when a predetermined time period has elapsed after the decelerating operation is started. Then, the shut-off valve opens when a predetermined time period has elapsed after the supply of fuel is stopped.
