A coil antenna having a magnetic core and a wire wound around the magnetic core. The magnetic core is flexible and bendable and is made of a mixture including soft magnetic powder and an organic binder agent. The soft magnetic powder comprises a plurality of particles, each of which is coated with an insulator layer which is made of an oxide layer.

Coil antenna

A coil antenna is disclosed comprising a magnetic core and a wire wound around the magnetic core. The magnetic core is made of a mixture comprising soft magnetic powder and an organic binder agent. The magnetic core has a specific complex permeability whose real part &#x3bc;' is 20 or more over a frequency range of 10 MHz or less and whose imaginary part &#x3bc;&#x2033; is 10 or more over a frequency range of 10 MHz or more so that the magnetic core is also servable as a noise suppressor against high-frequency noise.

In a vibration actuator using a magnetic circuit device ( ), a supporting arrangement ( ) elastically supports the magnetic circuit device. A coil ( ) is inserted into a magnetic gap ( ) of the magnetic circuit device and is supported by a vibration plate ( ). The vibration actuator has a first operation mode in which the magnetic circuit device mainly vibrates to transmit vibration through the vibration plate to the outside, a second vibration mode in which the coil mainly vibrates to produce a buzzer sound through the vibration plate, and a third vibration mode in which the magnetic circuit device and the coil mainly vibrate to produce a sound corresponding to a speech through the vibration plate.

In a multi-band antenna (10) being provided with an antenna element having an LC parallel resonance circuit (3) and a first and a second radiation element (1,2) connected to opposite ends of the LC parallel resonance circuit, the LC parallel resonance circuit is constituted by self-resonance of an inductor itself. A telescopic whip antenna may be constituted by combining a small-size antenna and a whip antenna which is receivable in a radio device casing and expandable.
