A fan includes an impeller including a boss and a plurality of blades; an air guide portion through which an airflow moves from one end to the other end of the air guide portion; and a bell mouth defining a first suction passage inside the bell mouth and defining, together with an inner surface of the air guide portion, a second suction passage outside the bell mouth. Between an upstream end point located in an inlet of the first suction passage and a downstream end point located in an outlet of the first suction passage of the bell mouth, the bell mouth includes a minimum possible radius point to which a distance, in a radial direction, from a rotation axis of the boss is smaller than a distance, in the radial direction, from the rotation axis to the downstream end point.

A heat exchanger has first and second heat exchange units disposed one above the other. In a case where the heat exchanger functions as a condenser, refrigerant flows through the second heat exchange unit after having flowed through the first heat exchange unit. An intermediate header unit through which the first heat exchange unit and the second heat exchange unit communicate with each other causes at least a portion of refrigerant having flowed through a first heat transfer pipe group on the windward side of the first heat exchange unit to flow to a fourth heat transfer pipe group. Further, the intermediate header unit causes at least a portion of refrigerant having flowed through a second heat transfer pipe group on the leeward side of the first heat exchange unit to flow into a third heat transfer pipe group or the fourth heat transfer pipe group.

Heat exchanger and refrigeration cycle device

A centrifugal fan includes a main plate, a blade connected to the main plate, and a shroud having an annular shape and connected to a shroud-side end of the blade that is an end opposite a main-plate-side end of the blade connected to the main plate. The centrifugal fan rotates about a rotation axis to suction a fluid through an opening of the shroud and discharge the fluid through the blade in a radial direction. A leading edge of the blade includes a recess located next to a point at which a shroud inner surface of the shroud that faces the main plate is connected to the leading edge and curving inwardly from the point toward a trailing edge and a projection located closer to the main plate than is the recess and projecting in the rotation direction.

Centrifugal fan and air-conditioning apparatus

An air-sending device includes a housing including an inlet air passage communicating with an air inlet and an outlet air passage communicating with an air outlet, a first partition plate partitioning an interior of the housing into the inlet air passage and the outlet air passage, a bell mouth disposed around an opening defined in the first partition plate, and an impeller disposed over the first partition plate across the bell mouth and having a rotation axis that extends in a direction that intersects the first partition plate. The impeller suctions air into the inlet air passage from the air inlet, and blows out air from the air outlet through the outlet air passage. The inlet air passage guides air from the air inlet to the opening along the first partition plate, and has an air-passage wall.

Air-sending device, and air-conditioning apparatus including the air-sending device

An air-conditioning apparatus includes: a housing having an intake air passage communicating with an air inlet and a blowout air passage communicating with an air outlet that allows air to be blown out in a single direction; a fan; a front heat exchanger facing the air outlet of the housing and including first and second heat exchangers; and at least one of rear and side heat exchangers that face rear and side surfaces of the housing, respectively. When the front heat exchanger operates as a condenser, the first heat exchanger operates as a condenser, and condensed and liquified refrigerant flows in the second heat exchanger. The second heat exchanger is located downstream of the first heat exchanger and the at least one of the rear and side heat exchangers in the flow direction of a refrigerant.

Air-conditioning apparatus

A heat exchange unit includes a housing having an inflow air passage communicating with an air inlet, and an outflow air passage communicating with an air outlet, a first partition plate that partitions an inside of the housing into the inflow air passage and the outflow air passage, a bellmouth disposed around an opening formed in the first partition plate, a centrifugal fan disposed on the first partition plate via the bellmouth, and a heat exchanger disposed on a downstream side of the centrifugal fan in the housing. The air inlet is open at any surface of the housing having the inflow air passage. The air outlet is open at any side surface of the housing having the outflow air passage. The inflow air passage is formed between a fan inlet and a main plate closest to the fan inlet to reach a rear surface. The fan inlet is an air inlet of the centrifugal fan.

Heat exchange unit and air-conditioning apparatus including the same

An elevator apparatus includes an elevator car; an air blower including an air inlet and an air outlet; ducts each having one end individually connected to the elevator car, the air inlet and the air outlet; intake and exhaust air volume adjusting means having the other end of each of the ducts connected thereto, which adjusts an intake and exhaust volume of air in the elevator car by varying a volume of air that bypasses the car to flow from the air outlet to the air inlet of the air blower; and control means that controls the intake and exhaust air volume adjusting means, to adjust air pressure within the car to set air pressure. The elevator apparatus adjusts air pressure within the elevator car, even when there is a small differential pressure between the set air pressure within the car and an air pressure outside the car.
