A compressor included in a fuel cell system comprises a compression chamber configured to compress the air by a rotating body; and a drive chamber arranged to separate from the compression chamber, provided with a driving mechanism that is placed therein to drive the rotating body, configured such that oil flows through, and placed to communicate with a first end portion of a depressurization pipe. When being viewed in a direction opposed to one side face of a fuel cell, a cooling medium piping and the depressurization pipe including a rising portion that is extended vertically upward are arranged to intersect with each other on the one side face.

Fuel cell system and fuel cell vehicle

A fuel cell includes a fuel cell stack having a stacked body with a plurality of stacked unit cells, an end plate unit, and a gas manifold penetrating the stacked body and the end plate unit in a stacking direction for a flow of reaction gas. The fuel cell also includes a valve that is provided between the end plate unit and gas piping and includes an in-valve flow path for communicating the gas manifold and the gas piping and a valve element. The gas manifold includes a stacked body manifold and an end plate unit flow path. When the fuel cell stack is arranged so that a manifold bottom portion is horizontal, a bottom portion of an opening on the valve side in the end plate unit flow path is arranged above the manifold bottom portion.

Fuel cell, fuel cell mounted device, and method of manufacturing fuel cell

A fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell; an air passage including an air supply passage and an air exhaust passage; an air inlet valve configured to open and close the air supply passage; an air outlet valve configured to open and close the air exhaust passage; a hydrogen gas passage including a hydrogen gas supply passage and a hydrogen gas exhaust passage; a hydrogen gas inlet valve configured to open and close the hydrogen gas supply passage; a hydrogen gas outlet valve configured to open and close the hydrogen gas exhaust passage; a hydrogen gas pressure sensor configured to obtain a pressure of gas in the hydrogen gas passage disposed downstream of the hydrogen gas inlet valve and upstream of the hydrogen gas outlet valve; and a controller.

Fuel cell system and abnormality diagnosis method for fuel cell system

There is provided a fuel cell module that can surely suppress oscillation of a compressor, even when externally induced vibration becomes large in travelling on a rough road, for example, and that can thus provide high NV performance and reliability. In the fuel cell module, the compressor and an intercooler are coupled to a stack frame and are also rigidly coupled to each other.

Fuel cell module

The fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell placed in a front room, an air compressor placed below the fuel cell in the front room to supply the fuel cell with cathode gas, and a refrigerant supply pump placed below the fuel cell in the front room to supply the fuel cell with a refrigerant. The refrigerant supply pump is placed forward of the air compressor.

Fuel cell vehicle

A moving body configured to reduce a damage on a mounting state of an intercooler even when traveling or similar situation is provided. The moving body includes an intercooler bracket that has a pair of arms extending from a stack frame. At distal end sides of the respective arms, an intercooler is mounted to the respective arms. At base end sides of the respective arms, the intercooler bracket is secured to the stack frame. A connecting portion that connects the pair of arms is integrally formed with the pair of arms.

Moving body

Provided is a vehicle with a fuel cell unit, specifically, a vehicle with a configuration in which a fuel cell unit is arranged anterior to a dashboard as well as a toe board located below the dashboard, where the fuel cell unit is arranged to be prevented from colliding with the toe board upon occurrence of unforeseen impact on the fuel cell unit. The fuel cell unit includes at least a fuel cell group, a stack manifold provided on the fuel cell group on the vehicle rear side, and an air valve device fixed to the stack manifold. The stack manifold has a recess portion formed in a part thereof. The air valve device is fixed to the stack manifold with at least a part of the air valve device received within the recess portion.

Vehicle with fuel cell unit

To suppress increase of a pressure loss in a channel and blocking of the channel due to water adhering to a rectification mesh provided downstream of a butterfly valve. A fuel cell system includes: a butterfly valve provided on a pipe between a fuel cell and another component; and a rectification mesh provided on a downstream side of gas flowing in the pipe relative to the butterfly valve, a mesh that rectifies a flow of the gas being formed in the rectification mesh. The rectification mesh has, in its lower end part in a vertical direction, a first opening part in which the mesh is not formed.

Fuel cell system

A fuel cell vehicle has a front compartment accommodating a hydrogen pump provided to a pipe through which fuel gas is supplied, and a gas-liquid separator that is fastened to the hydrogen pump and removes water from the fuel gas flowing through the pipe, the gas-liquid separator having an end portion on a backward side in a travelling direction arranged more on the backward side than an end portion of the hydrogen pump on the backward side in the travelling direction. A fastening portion, at which the hydrogen pump and the gas-liquid separator are fastened to each other, has a center of gravity Cshifted from a center of gravity Cof the hydrogen pump in a width direction of the fuel cell vehicle, in the fuel cell vehicle as viewed in a vertical direction.

A bracket has deformation resistant strength set to be overwhelmed by an input load applied to the bracket from a rearward side toward a forward side when a fuel cell vehicle collides with an object.

A fuel cell includes a stacked body formed by stacking a plurality of unit cells, an end plate arranged on at least one end of the stacked body in a stacking direction, a fuel cell case including an opening portion and incorporating the stacked body, wherein the opening portion has a substantially polygonal outer circumference shape with a plurality of corners, and a plurality of types of fasteners with different load resistances that fix the end plate, closing the opening portion of the fuel cell case, to the fuel cell case. A fastener, of the plurality of types of fasteners, of a type with a highest load resistance is arranged at at least one of the plurality of corners of the opening portion.

Fuel cell and fuel cell system

A fuel cell device includes: a cell stack; a case including a cover portion that covers one of side surfaces of the cell stack along a stacking direction; an end plate connected to one end portion of the cover portion in the stacking direction; and a fastening member that extends in parallel with the stacking direction on an opposite side of the cell stack from the cover portion, that includes one end portion in the stacking direction connected to the end plate and another end portion in the stacking direction connected to the case, and that fastens the cell stack, the end plate, and the case to each other. A thermal expansion coefficient of the cover portion is larger than a thermal expansion coefficient of the fastening member.

Fuel cell device

A spacer is disposed between a rotor and a bearing of an electric supercharger to fix the rotor. The spacer has a tapered surface with a diameter decreasing toward the bearing in an outer circumferential surface of the spacer. An area of an end surface of the spacer on a rotor side is larger than an area of an end surface of the spacer on a bearing side. A balance correction part that corrects balance of the spacer is disposed inside a recess formed in the end surface. A region of the end surface located on an outer side of the recess relative to a central axis of the spacer constitutes a surface coming in contact with the rotor.

Spacer and electric supercharger

A fuel cell () includes an end plate cover () to which a sound-absorbing member () is attached and an injector block () in an end plate (F) on one end side of a cell stack (S). The sound-absorbing member () is attached to a sound-absorbing seating surface () forming a gas introduction path () of the end plate cover () which merges a gas jetted from injectors (to) to guide it to a fuel gas supply path in a cell coupling portion (Fc), and is fixed to a convex column () in a state in which the convex column () is inserted to a through hole ().

Fuel cell

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell for causing electrochemical reactions of anode gas and cathode gas, a fuel cell system case accommodating the fuel cell, and a frame disposed below the fuel cell system case and fixing the fuel cell system case. A rib is provided on an upper surface of the frame. A water reservoir portion is provided in the bottom of the fuel cell system case so that the water reservoir portion is a concave in an inner side of the fuel cell system case and is a convex in the outside of the fuel cell system case. The water reservoir portion is located at a position at which at least a part of the convex vertically overlaps with the rib.
