A partial discharge measurement system including at least one sensor configured to detect a voltage signal propagating through a conductor connected to a rotating electrical machine in a non-contact manner, a first bandpass filter configured to pass a component of a first frequency included in the voltage signal therethrough, a second bandpass filter configured to pass a component of a second frequency included in the voltage signal therethrough, the second frequency being lower than the first frequency, a phase acquirer configured to acquire a phase waveform of the component of the second frequency having passed through the second bandpass filter, and an output interface configured to output information by which a component of partial discharge of the rotating electrical machine included in the component of the first frequency having passed through the first bandpass filter can be identified based on the phase waveform.

The present embodiment provides a partial discharge measurement apparatus configured to detect partial discharge generated in a rotating electrical machine supplying or receiving power via an insulated conductor, where the apparatus comprises a calibration signal generator, a sensor, a compensation processor, and a signal processor. The calibration signal generator is configured to supply a calibration signal to a surface of an insulating layer of the insulated conductor. The sensor is configured to measure a physical quantity regarding the partial discharge. The compensation processor is configured to use an output signal of the sensor when the calibration signal has been supplied to generate a compensation coefficient. The signal processor is configured to process the output signal of the sensor based on the compensation coefficient.

Partial discharge measurement apparatus, partial discharge measurement method, and partial discharge measurement system

According to one embodiment, an insulation diagnostic system comprising: a peak-value acquisition circuit configured to acquire at least one peak value of a section corresponding to local discharge of a voltage signal acquired by at least one sensor that detects the voltage signal in a non-contact manner; a function acquisition circuit configured to acquire a calculation function for calculating charge amount related to the discharge based on at least two peak values acquired from the voltage signal that is detected by the sensor by applying a test voltage to a rotating electrical machine while the rotating electrical machine is stopped; and a charge-amount calculation circuit configured to calculate the charge amount related to partial discharge of the rotating electrical machine based on the calculation function and the peak value obtained from the voltage signal that is detected by the sensor during operation of the rotating electrical machine.

Insulation diagnostic system and insulation diagnostic method

According to an embodiment, there is provided an apparatus which quantitatively evaluates a braze bonding length. A radiation emission unit emits radiation to each of a plurality of partial specimens which are obtained by cutting a specimen in a plane perpendicular to a braze bonding length direction. A light generator generates light of an amount corresponding to an intensity of transmissive radiation. An imaging unit photographs this light. A calculator calculates a braze bonding length of each of the partial specimens, from a light amount obtained with respect to each of the partial specimens, based on a correlation between a braze bonding length and a light amount. The calculator further calculates the braze bonding length of the specimen by totaling the braze bonding lengths of the respective partial specimens.
